I have listened to him talk in details about many different subjects without reading off of anything. Not many know as much as he does. He's very intelligent so whatever loss it caused him then he sure has recovered from it.
So have I, and about half the time his seemingly hyper-intelligent rants are completely of the cuff, inaccurate and ridiculous, and fail the truth vetting process. Too bad, I really thought highly of him at one point.
