Those days are gone, it will never be the same no matter how many times they revive this game. People, atmosphere, how we interact with each other, how we blindly go to new maps not knowing anything and what's waiting for us. that's how adventures look like. no graphic will ever replace that kind of special feeling.

i really liked the old RO "marketplace" style. you can't find a centralised NPC to scroll through all the goods and make instant informed decisions. RO in the old days ran their economy solely on merchants and you gotta click one by one to find the best deals. i used to think it was dumb as hell but in hindsight, it was ironically the part i enjoyed the most. very rudimentary and human elements like this made RO unique and so enjoyable, and quite plainly why it can't replicate the same success today.
That's a wonderful way to put it and I agree 100%.

Back in 2003, In Philippines RO, Chaos server, sometimes there are more than 30k players online specially in War of Emperium event. You will have difficulty logging in on that server. You have no choice but to play your other characters from a different server. LOL. That is how big the community in Philippines RO back in the days. I wish I can go back in time. 😑

My first true MMO, learned so much playing this game, met so many people. I still remember how hard it was to stop playing, even when all we did was sit in town and talk. Or in heavy pvp areas, good times. The kids today have FF14 so it's not that bad.
I feel sad that I could not have experienced this game during it's heyday, so I've no personal nostalgia attached to the game, however this track remains very beautiful in it's own right and is definitely worth preserving.
back in 2003 if u played ragnarok online its a game that u cant stop playing non stop chatting, meeting new friends,hunting searching where to get the specific items because theres no guide, also no guide for skill and stats my first character is archer with str stats 😅, ragnarok release 2002 cbt-then 2003 obt i think best year and best game ever.
Geffen is my favorite town and Theme of Geffen is my favorite BGM. 😍

RO ORIGIN GLOBAL in android is very close and better to original RO, is the best ragnarok 3D, no play RO eternal love for his skill windows is very bad design and graphics no is like the origin.
