My floor is still 7-5, but my ceiling is now 11-1.

11-1 is not realistic. 9-3 is the ceiling.

Yep , Hank needs to play, wish they could do it like Skip Holtz, play one QB one game then the other guy the next game and keep doing it until one clearly separates, but that's not realistic

I see a time coming when fans aren't going to get hyped up about the roster until it's time to play ball cause it seems like they can come and go whenever they want. So why get excited until the season begins

I'm very wary of the portal. I have yet to see anything substantial come from it. Getting guys from lowly schools doesn't excite me. We have had a handful of guys in the past that have come from other schools that made an impact....but those schools were like Florida and Georgia...not south alabama or polytech whatever.
I know some guys fly under the radar and even walk ons have had their days...but I'm very secptical of the portal. Can anyone name 5 players that had an impact that was crucial?

Nope. It's more about building a LB room for next year. They lose some next year and if you can get a player like him, it only adds to existing depth.

Can we please get a damn QB we have everything we need to make the playoffs year 2 accept for a good QB and if we don’t make the playoffs it’s all Payton fault and I don’t want that for the guy
How is it all Peyton’s fault? He had no line to block for him last year and no receiver that could catch a football or get open to save their lives. Peyton can only do so much. We could have had cam back there last year and still would have been just as bad
@@Bullfighter93 Auburn can make the playoffs this year i don’t believe in A&M Oklahoma and Alabama all those games are wins to me the only loss I see is Missouri and Georgia on the road you go 10-2 like I’m saying you can get that 10 or 9 seed in the playoffs which is very possible Kalen will get fired in 3-4 years i don’t see him beating Auburn ever or I have Bama 6-6 this year they will have a 2007 season and it will either get a little better or a lot worse the next season cause it’s hard to replace Saban I’m scare of Bama anymore we about to own them and I want to start that now we not won since 2019 and that is not okay i have Auburn winning in T town and winning the next 3 Iron Bowls my point is Auburn schedule is soft and easy and we can win this year we have the pieces to do that accept for QB we should have got Riley Leonard or Cam Ward from the portal
@@GracieSkywalker look what Peyton did at Michigan state his true before he came to Auburn when he had a good like and receivers and a rb. He was really good. He can’t do it all on himself. He can’t block, run, throw, and catch the ball. It’s a team sport and as a qb you’re only going to be as good as the pieces around you. Sure he might have made a few bone headed passes but he also only had a month or 2 to be with the team and learn the play book when he got to Auburn. The play calls were absolutely terrible and he only had one read or go. In the spring game I saw him looking at several different guys before throwing the ball and you didn’t see that last year. Just give him time man he will be good I’m telling you.

Hank is next up Holden is gone so now Auburn is in a spot in 2025 where we have Hank Walker Juju you need a 4th guy do you bring in a transfer or do you take two HS QB or do you take Juju and Juco kid or do you offer a scholarship to a walk on A day is supposed to be where everyone plays not once did we see a walk on QB play which is sad they should get at least 5 snaps at the end of the game
So since Holden isn’t transferring is it a chance he’s the starting qb next year? Not trying to continue bashing PT but just a legitimate question. Is Holden vs Payton something we should keep an eye on this summer?

It’s Thornes job barring injury. We never really had an actual QB battle since the only realistic option we had was/Is PT (despite how hard Zach tried to sell a 3 star 3rd stringer as a “baby goat”) Hugh gave up on finding a successor to PT after missing on Riley Leonard. Pretty obvious who he’s hitched his wagon to for 2024 at this point
Geriner will never be the starter and if White doesn't bring his "A" game the baby goat will lead us to the playoffs in 25.
