Love the prospect model content. These types of videos are great. Part of the process that allows me to really nerd out for dynasty content. Do you plan on dropping the other position models as well? I haven't watched this full video yet so my bad if you mention it in here

Last week in 1QB, I grabbed Vidal at 3.10, Tracy at 4.05, and Estime at 5.05. Happy to see some of those names ranked well.

Love the content makes me a little nervous in a 1qb start 9 I took all of Wright, Lloyd, and Davis in the 2nd round. (Lloyd at 2.04 Wright at 2.06 and Davis at 2.12)

Another fit would be rather than scoring, would be to fit to redraft draft rankings during years 2, 3, and 4. Redraft ranking would be good proxy for dynasty. KTC goes back only a few years.
Yeah that's a good point, but I used Dynasty League Football which has been around for a while pre-KTC

I think it would be worth running the 2025 class now as a baseline then again after their pre draft season to see how much of a difference it can make. Perhaps they transferred schools or the depth chart opened up. Like we saw with j brooks.

Yeah unfortunately it took me a few weeks to make like the WR model, figured WR class was more of the priority this year with how many of them were going highly in drafts

Disappointed to see Lloyd not do well in the model. I was looking at him as a late 2nd that could be a contributor. I've seen some other models that liked him.
Yeah he losses a lot of points in the traits (minus athleticism) and analytics portion, hard when you're not overly productive in college

Is this the same as your RBs to target amd avoid video? A lot of the RBs that this model doesnt like got high scores in that video.
So that video was a placeholder until I built this, more of a rudimentary "model" than this one. I would definitely trust this video more

Great stuff! I landed 1st overall pick in my big money home 10 team full ppr league. We start 2rb, 3wr n 2flex…..so we can start up to 4rb or 5wr, do i go CMC, Bijan or a WR/lamb, hill etc. I also have Breece as my 5th rd keep, is Cmc n breece the way to start or go someone else? And who u like on the 2/3 turn, maybe Josh Allen/ Mahomes n Kelce? 6 pt pass td as well…..only keepers are Hurts, amon, nico, jacobs, olave, laporta jon taylor…..how would u target this team??

His pass catchers outside of Kincaid are mediocre
Knowing you have Breece already I’d be likely to go with lamb, on the 2/3 turn I’d be fine going with the mahomes/Kelce there but I’d have to know who else fell
Left my first rookie draft with Brookes, Benson, Marvin Harrison, Nabers, and Jermaine Burton (skipping over Marshawn Lloyd). Grade my draft pls! 🙏🏻
Love the haul, not huge on Burton I would've opted for guys like Frankling, Corum, Wright, Estime or McMillan if they were there
So after watching both this & the wr model videos i just paid jameson williams, 2025 5th, & a 2026 5th for:
audric estime, jordan davis (eagles dt), 25 3rd, and a 26 5th
it’s a huge 32 team salary cap league with idp’s, even with how much the model loves estime, did i lose? lol

keep rachaad white in 7th or kincaid in 10th
Kincaid in the 10th is the better value imo
Kincaid in the 10th, and it’s not close.
Kincaid is gonna be the Bills #1 pass catcher this year (I’m a Bills fan) and has a chance to be TE1 overall this year.
Josh Allen has no other WRs he can depend on
Meanwhile, White has a new OC who is unlikely to use him to the extent he was used last year with how terribly inefficient he was.
Plus, Bucky Irving is an RB who everyone liked on tape, but had his value drop bc of the combine stats he put up.
Once these guys are on the field, Irving is gonna start looking really good again & will (at the least) eat into White’s role, and possibly take it over at some point
Summary:
White just isn’t that good & has competition
Kincaid is a good talent with little competition
Seems like an easy choice to me

I am a statistician, you don't have any proof your model is predictive. You only have proof that your model fits what has happened. You need to have to hold out data, that will test to see if the scoring we are predicting on the players data you didn't use to fit the model is accurate. Dynasty is a journey.....
I have proof that it is correlated and fitted yes, you are definitely correct
However the goal of creating the model is to create an anatomy for top RB talent, any other insight you can provide is helpful, the model is pretty much an anatomy that we’re applying to new prospects, I’m sure it’s much less advanced than things you’ve dealt with
You are on the right path! The risk is of over fitting a model.

He's just wonky all together because of the position change
But his college film is insane and he’s fresh in terms of his career RB wear and tear. Idk. I think he’s getting slept on because of his age and position change but RB isn’t really that hard of a transition.
