In this final episode of Chasing El Niño, Chris and his ski crew hike 6,000 vertical feet through rock fields to find the last of this season's snow in the Sierras.

I love seeing that even these pro skiers struggle on ascents like this. I know the feeling all too well, of feeling like your standing still while trudging up a big snow panel. Looks incredibly fun though!

I always did the New Year's day trifecta. Wakeboarding for charity in the morning, mountain biking in the Boise foothills after that, then night skiing at Bogus Basin to finish the day

There are more places in North America where they could make more episodes, in Montana near my house we have mountains with enough snow to ski in late July
