- Join us for our coverage of the 2020 Ohio Valley Military Society "Show of Shows" in Louisville, KY. SOS is the largest military show in the country. You can expect to see things all things militaria - guns, daggers, swords, uniforms, medals, equipment, posters, and much much more!
In this episode, Tom meets up with Tom Whittman and Craig Gottlieb, leading experts on daggers and militaria. You may also have seen Craig Gottlieb as a featured expert on the popular History Channel show, Pawn Stars! Together, they authenticate an SS dagger. Tom Whittman also walks us through what he brought to the show.

@@LegacyCollectibles whitmann is known to sell fakes and Gottlieb is also a crook. There are way more reputable dealers in the community than these two conmen. Have a look on the wehrmacht awards forum and you'll see what I mean.

All lovely items, but over the years I’ve noticed that most of the good stuff does not cater for the average collector the items are ridiculously overpriced and cater for the rich so the average guy can’t own them.
Spend your first $1000 buying books then and doing research then start off with tinnies, badges and other small things then work your way up.

I live in Indianapolis so it's a nice easy drive for me to Louisville. Next year, I hope to be at the Show of Shows and to have Won the Lottery by then. ;>)
Don't waste your lotto money on Whitmann or Gottlieb they both are well known for selling fake items

I love it. I see stuff that I have and it makes me go dig it out of my closet and touch it. SS Daggers, NAZI swords. Parade Daggers, Badges, Medals, Lugers, Export 9mm Broomhandle....Now I want more stuff...

In Uk cannot have hobby like this;-( I am from Czechoslovakia now Czech .. My Uncle was always about pistols ,revolvers and other . In my hands I holding mostly Germany weapons ,some knives daggers,,helmets .and some books Hitler in Olympic games ,black and white which I found in old house, I was in the time 15 or 17 .. we always going to forest searching for something .and one day I found Sturmgewehr 44 in the hole ,was bit rusty ,but awesome .. Next to this was two loaded magazine like new .. I always like Germany stuff ,Here in UK cannot have even knife ;-(( .. My Uncle have one friend,which he was fanatic on Germany stuff ,and have 100 and 100 books ,pictures ,helmets ,and guns under the bed .. One day someone ring his bell door ,and as he was handicap on legs ,cannot walk to much . some young guys robbing him from everything ;-(( People are stupid ,and do not respect ,if somebody have hobby like this . I like it ,also metal detecting
