@rharvey2k1 I selected the surface geometry, then started a new sketch. Remember you have to be editing the layout part file in order to do this. Let me know if that helped.

Hi Rob Im trying to select the lines I have added as in you example sketch to add the 3 additional members and Im unable to select the lines to add them can you advise me please were Im going wrong . thanks Robb

sorry I have got it now . I needed to start a new ipt to make the lines selectable . cheers R
