    Your clarity of thought processes is excellent. It's definitely difficult to explain systems like these. Exceptional insight and colloquial dissemination of a procedural nature. Thank you.

    What little I have I can make do except 3- 6 weeks in a Michigan winter. I live in my motorhome and I don't have anything fancy. I use a 100 watt boxed system right off the Harbor Freight shelf.

    Good job Sam. Looks awesome. I'd like to get it here but afraid our rain and gray weather in the PNW leaves a lot to be desired. I do see them around here however and huge arrays of panels .........but you never know. It's all going to be coming to something sooner or later for power improvement to be sure. Great video!

    That's really neat. Why doesn't he just plug it into one of the outlets in his office and it could recharge itself while powering the office? It could keep itself fully charged all the time!!!

    I am curious as to where/when is the break even point of the system. How many kilowatts/years until the money spent of the system would equal paying for power from the grid. And then how much longer after the break even point before more money would have to be spent to replace batteries or solar panels, or even the unit itself? Thanks.

    How many hours would one Bluetti 3000w run a typical refrigerator/freezer single unit. Typical wattage used by refrigerator?
    In a power outage scenario, my main concern is the food storage devices.
    Lastly, any concerns with a Bluetti in the house from a Lithium-ion battery fire perspective?

    • @williamkn621
      @williamkn621 4 месяца назад

      Bluetti uses lifepo4 version of lithium, not the lithium ion batteries that burst into flames in tesla's, cell phones and laptops.
      Although I would never spend my money on a solar generator from Blue Eddie or any of the other battery in a box suppliers except possibly a small unit that's portable when I am working somewhere that I either need 200 ft of extension cord or the power is off and I don't own a battery-powered tool to do the job.

  • @SandhillDigger24

    I have a question Sam .... I am looking into this same equipment and I saw where you mentioned the double pole breakers in the switch panel. From what I have managed to find out, in order to be able to handle 230 ac volts output for say a well pump...I would have to have two inverter units and a phase synch device from them to be able to produce the 230 ac output to run the well pump. Can you verify or elaborate on this? I do know that to establish a 230 volt single phase service it is required to have two 120 volt ac circuits 120 deg out of phase, just trying to get familiar with the hardware required by Bluetti to get it done. By the way, we love your channels and watch them all, even went back and watched pretty much all of the older uploads. Thank You ! Be Good!

    • @GreenAcreHomestead
      @GreenAcreHomestead  3 месяца назад +1

      You are correct. To get 240v output from a BLUETTI unit you need their kit and to connect two units at once in a certain way. It may be of greater benefit to purchase a 240v inverter and do a more traditional setup is portability is not of the upmost priority.
