    If you haven't already, I definitely recommend checking the anti-freeze to make sure it has actual anti-freeze instead of just plain water. We have found that a lot of Floridians use plain water as coolant, at least in the vehicles we have bought here, which has led to so many of the parts rusting. What's good about the canopy also is the truck will be shaded so it won't be so hot when you get inside. And I just want to point out that I love the color of that teal shed. Picture the singlewide that color too :D

    • @laurieg673
      @laurieg673 2 года назад +5

      I agree with the shed color, it beautiful.
      Believe it or not but people in Maine use water too & it freezes in the winter🤭

    I was reading the comments while the ads were running and a lot of people were commenting about Elijah driving, but WOW I was impressed! He did a better job than a lot of adults who have been driving a long time.

    Nice truck I speak from experience I'm 70 years old you're going to have problems with the electrical system and the gauges are all going to go out of eventually probably pretty soon the next thing is you put that canopy too close to your shed that wall will rot out within a couple years with the rain coming off of that carport hitting the shed just the warning I enjoy watching your Channel you are very nice family God bless you

    Our sons were taught to drive everything from gocarts to tractors to dirtbikes, then the truck and suburu. You're raising great drivers when they learn all these things early in a safe environment. Awesome to see you giving them the knowledge (and I know the associated safety lessons). So exited to see your boys learning so much using their hands to build things! You're awesome!

    While most people might frown on Elijah driving, he did an outstanding job! IMO, this is really a good idea from my experience. I was taught to drive (stick shift) at that 7 and it saved my dad's life. If you take the time to teach kids they will respect the machinery. It is wonderful to see the kids helping out. Much respect to you Sam & Angela and a shout out to the boys.
    You can tell the kids like putting things together! Nice truck and love those 1 owner vehicles, especially those well maintained.

    Whenever I get another vehicle I power wash the underbody and spray it with underbody rubber coat to keep it from rusting. Then I spray paint the muffler and pipes with heat resistant paint to get three times the life out of it. Yes you will smell the burning paint for a couple of hours but it is worth it.❤❤❤❤

    Isn't the car port a little close to the storage shed where rain coming off the carport roof will slide down the side of the shed and wash out the floor? I'd put up a gutter on the shed to save the side and divert the water back towards the wood.

    Really nice looking truck!!
    I missed the community post.
    I suggest that you put some “bumpers” on the front posts also. I can see a mirror getting scratched very easily. You might have to pull the truck forward a little bit and that would also protect the doors, if the boys forget to be careful. Again a very very nice truck. That long bed will prove useful to you in the future. Even though it might be a pain to park, someday I believe you will be glad you’ve got the extra length. I I have a long bed truck and like being able to haul 8 ft lumber without a flag. 😀😀

    You might want to drape a tarp or canvas over the back of your carport to keep the part that's not under the roof protected.
    We had a truck that was under one but over time the part that hung out pitted and rusted because of the leaves and sap from trees falling on it.
