I've had Branston Pickle since the 50s but my favourite way is to have it with grilled lamb chops & chips(that's English chips, not crisps) and loads of Branston Pickle. Our Saturday night favourite meal.

I’m in southern Ontario, and right next door to where I live is an Italian grocery store that imports foods from Europe, including British cheeses, Branson, and various other products. They charge $8 Canadian for a smaller jar than what was used in this video. For a 250 g block of British cheese they charge around the same price or more.
In Latvia there was a period where country people made pickles at home because stores had nothing to offer. To this day a lot of people make them at home. Not every recipe is the same, but most of them taste awesome, so I would say that making things like these at home is a valuable skill. So even if it does not taste like from the store, thumbs up for the skill. Do not have anything like that here, because it sounds like the recipe comes from India or something, but we do have variations, not just whole marinated pickles, sounds like the thing we call here ''Man's Jam''.
