      Listening to paint dry is more interesting than the current top gear. The only redeeming feature is when they have Sabine Schmidt on. I think they had Abbie Eaton on once as well she's pretty cool.

    Remember one of the first episodes, when James talks about that food in the seventies was mostly distinguished by colour? The same goes for jam. In the seventies (and eighties), there usually was yellow jam and red jam. Nobody needed to know what fruit was in there. Mostly it was sugar, anyway....

    I have to say that the 70’s sandwich series has been absolutely hysterical. I am afraid, however, that the true genius of it is probably lost on those who were not born in the 1960-1970 range. Thanks for some great laughs on this episode and the others. On the very day that I watched the cheese sarnie episode, I did in fact find that same cheese grater in the kitchen drawer.

    Breville sandwich toaster. That's a 70s and 80s wonderment! I believe some my aunt made still have not cooled down! Particularly the cheese and tomato.

    I am an early nineties child and I've enjoyed literally every 70s sandwich in my childhood! I have wonderful parents! Sandwich spread, salad cream, Branston pickle and jams for the win!

    I live just a few as the crow flies miles from hartleys factory and on some days you can smell the jam and the other products being made and its really nice 👍
