A lot of the time, the person behind the wrestler is entirely different to the character they play on-screen, and sometimes in disgusting ways. In rare cases, wrestlers have been arrested and convicted for some of the most disgusting times, and today we’re going to be talking about wrestlers who were convicted for being predators.

Jimmy Savil was a pro wrestler for a while, so I think he will always be the worest of all time. He was a jobber but had to give up wrestling because the other wrestlers kept beating him up in the ring for real.

I worked two shows for Zumhofe back in the day. He had the audacity to tell me that I was strange. Arrested about 6 months later for sexually assaulting his daughter. Horrible dude. Had no idea. Wish I had never worked for him.

Buck being hired to fight the Undertaker AFTER his conviction would shock me except that wrestling was filled with the worst kinds of dudes back then (and probably still to a degree), they probably didn't even check his record.
Scumhoff was HHH's debut opponent in the WWF back in 95 or 96 ( can't remember the precise year he debut ) By that time he'd been convicted twice.
Given Vince McMahon's moral compass, I am not surprised he turned a blind eye to Zumhofe.
In Vince's mind, maybe having Zumhofe be a jobber was "punishment enough".
I just hope Taker find out what Zumhofe was like, and didn't pull his punches and hit him hard way during that match.
Given that the company employed a certain French-Canadian shower stalker for many years, this comes as no surprise to me.

Because Dark Side of the Ring isn't even about dark things anymore, they rather to a episode about Magnum TA, a guy who has no dark side on him, than the actual cases. Same with Hardbody Harrison (but he's black, so he's untouchable) and Juana Barraza, who has murdered at least 16 people. The show is a total joke nowadays, sadly.

Thanks for sheding light on wrestling predators. I think one of the reasons they are not talked about more is the sorry state of wrestling journalism. Most websites that cover wrestling just parrot press releases or stuff said on Twitter. There is very little investigative journalism, even behind a paywall like PW Torch or the Observer. Honestly the best wrestling journalism is here on RUclips because people can deep-dive into an issue and present it in an entertaining way. Good work!

Dont care if Chasyn has "gotten better". He's still out there with minors under his wing learning to wrestle. I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if another situation happens and his wrestling had better not try to defend him on it.

Only in Florida? It happens in many places. There's a Hollywood in Florida...and a Hollywood in California. I'll leave it to you to work out which is more notorious, suffice to say that they're not exactly boy scouts out west.
If you go to California, you can grab a bucket of popcorn, watch an angry mob assault and chase a woman around a university, hole her up in a room for three hours, then appreciate the fact that the university in question (San Francisco) refused to punish any of the students involved (I am, of course, talking about the disgusting attack on Riley Gaines). What did Gov. Newsom say in response? Nothing, he was too busy using his Twitter page to police Tennessee gun laws--when he's *meant* to be the Governor of California. A high profile athlete is bashed in the face by a man, given death threats, then chased across campus, this all happens in California, and Newsom thinks it's a non-issue.
Now that *is* something that has only happened in California.
Look up how many drag queen story time people are convicted sex offenders. It's happening in many places in the United States.
I don't know the ins and outs of the case in question, but I do know that in Florida, they don't allow grown men who pretend to be women to use the same toilets as females (or at least they don't encourage it). Likewise, they don't allow men to pretend to be women so that they can compete against women in sports.

Team Vision Dojo has a few abusers on their payroll. Aaron Epic is another one. I would almost argue that most schools that train minors in wrestling should be given the side eye at this point. And don't give me the talk on Regal, Race, or Gordy.

Ugh. Stuff like that last story really make me question my thoughts on whether convictions are rehabilition, punishment, or a mix of both. Because yeah he's done his penance, stayed re-offense free (I assume) and worked with the system...but I really don't think he should have any contact with minors at all. Putting aside my personal thoughts (that he should spend the rest of his life sealed up to his neck in cement), that he's not prohibited from ANY contact with minors feels like a massive fuck-up on the part of the legal system. Just...gross.
Same. A lot of violent criminals, including rapists, can be successfully rehabilitated but being a pedo doesn't just go away. He shouldn't be able to have any underaged students at all, period.

There are nasty people in all walks of lives. The fact that alot of these guys are built and have a high pain tolerance, make them all the more scary. I wish people could leave our children alone. Because they could easily find a partner who is willing.

Consent laws in Florida give a minor 16 or over the right to engage with an adult under 25. He was 25 and he BELIEVED she was 17 (at least initially).
Even still, she was 15, nearly 16. You are talking a matter on MONTHS separating legal from illegal. It was consensual and should not be treated with the same anger as when a 50 year old pedophile molests a 12 year old.

For anyone wondering the details of Chasyn Rance story, since it's never actually said in any of these videos I've ever watched talking about it, when he was 25 he slept with a 15 year old girl who wrote about it in her diary. Her mom discovered the diary and went to police. The girl admitted she lied about her age by 2 years, saying she was 17 but that he'd wanted to wait until she was 18. That's why he got a very light punishment legally other than having to register as a sex offender.
Under 18 is all that matters, not the easiest to get proof with minors n lack of id's. Pretty simple rule, if you have to ask if they're 18, just assume they're not and walk away.
Typical blame the girl. You can tell a 15 year old from a 17 year old. If you are 25 and want to date an 18 year old, you have issues.
