That's a really cool project, my friend! I truly enjoyed watching you make this. The trigger was especially clever. Thanks again and I hope you have a wonderful day!
You are single-handedly responsible for my choice to switch from a single-blade folder to a SAK for EDC. I've never regretted that choice, so thanks for all that you do.
I’ve EDC’d many many types of knives over the past 48 years, I’m 56… For the past 15 it’s been all SAK. For me, and I think I can reasonably say, for most people, it the most useful and practical carry. Unless you have a frequent specific need for a single blade folder, IMO they’re overrated.
Actually, same here. I grew up in the country, in the woods, and on a farm. I always carried dedicated tools, but now thanks to Felix I have all those tools in my pocket. Lovin' my ranger.
G'day from Australia, Felix! Once again , an interesting and useful project! Glad to see you in robust good health. All the best to you and your family now and in the future. Cheers Bob
The bird songs - a beautiful soundtrack! Felix, if those are real birds singing as you tape, you owe them a commission. If you added those bird songs, you deserve an Oscar :)
Very creative sir, as always, you never fail to impress me. Since I watched your videos, I never looked at my SAK, the same way again. Thanks a lot -Sam from the Philippines
Felix, you my man, are a true treasure to society. You make me feel like I am the 65 year old kid I knew I was.And I just adore that joyous smile of the little girl in your 63 projects book, that is priceless. Keep it up, funny thing is I cannot watch any of your videos without a big smile on my face. Thank you so much, the world needs more people like you in it.
You are so very welcome, and very deserving of it.At this point I sadly tell you I'm from the USA, my former great country which I'm afraid will not be great again for at least the rest of my life...so the joy your videos bring here are needed more than ever. Please keep it up sir, and may you and yours have a long, healthy and very happy life. Again, thank you so much.
I love these projects that are actually achievable in a tough situation stuck in the middle of nowhere with a little time and effort. I don't know if you are aware of this but there is another gentleman of similar accent and infectious enthusiasm with an interest in this area. The few antique versions of this that I've seen are really beautiful and are still very accurate apparently.
you have awesome ideas. I have enjoyed every video I have watched made by you, and I have always learned new tricks and tips each time I have. Keep posting this kind of stuff. I also have been carrying a SAK for most of my life and love them. They are, by far, the best survival knife and tool you can get, IMHO.
Clever design Sir,maybe in a close future such knowledge will be a matter of life or death..more of slingshot, naill launcher designs and artifacts like that.. Like and respect from a Spaniard mountain and forest lover
60 years ago, when I was a kid, we just carved a good fork stick(I've still got it), used strips of certain types of bicycle inner tubes, and a piece of an old boot. We'd go down to a stream to pick smooth rocks(puttin the quartz ones aside). We would practice for hours. When we found an old Coke bottle, that was what the quartz rocks were for. A square hit with a quartz stone, made those thick bottles explode. Practise and "feel" for your weapon is more important than the frame and trigger. I've shot almost everything from slings to 105mm guns. In most cases, it was how well you had drilled with the tool. During NAM, every M16A1 I fired was a tack driver but most .45 pistols were badly worn. In a field situation, I would just weave a sheppards sling from a 12' paracord. A good video. Good Luck, Rick
That is a clever idea and uniquely designed trigger. You should try to mount a spool underneath to hold fishing line to "shoot" your baited hook in areas to tight for casting. Felix, I never get tired of watching your bushcraft skills. Thank you.
Wow. That was a fun project. Ingenious trigger. I love to watch you do s project. You seem to be such s happy person. Made my Friday. Have a great week.
Thanks Felix. What a great video. A great survival hunting tool. I will definitely add 4 heavy duty elastic bands and a leather pouch to my kit. I really enjoy your DIY videos. Thanks again and cheer my friend. 👍
Great idea. But I do think that pulling that little trigger pin down would wobble/slow your aim a little compared to other trigger mechanisms. (Perhaps I'm wrong). Excellent and fun project.
Nice honest hardwork, not too fan of mistakes being cut out from the vid. like we could had prepared/chosen a more suitable environment &/or tools for that.
I have a commercial version of your slingshot rifle, its a little straighter, a little smoother trigger action, a little bit more sophisticated BUT a LOT more expensive, and at the end of the day it does exactly the same thing. Well done, its a wonderful project and a great demonstration of ingenuity with simple tools and natural materials(except for the rubber bands for which there is no substitute unless you own a rubber tree).
Hi Felix, Another great invention to show my older Grandkids ( under supervision) of course 😂. I am sure that you could achieve great accuracy using some good Ammo. Thanks for sharing, Cheers Ian
I carry a SAK everywhere, either a Farmer in the pocket or a Swiss Champ in a pouch on the belt. I use them all the time in day to day life but to see these type of knife used in bushcraft, in the wild, is very interesting and inspiring.

I wonder how many dad's will manage to impress their kids this weekend after watching this. This was just very neat.
Haa ha haa, thank you so much! 🤣
That's a really cool project, my friend! I truly enjoyed watching you make this. The trigger was especially clever. Thanks again and I hope you have a wonderful day!
Thank you so much for your positive feedback!
I’ve saved so many of your projects to inspire my Grandson so he can learn bushcraft skills. Thanks Felix, this is one of my favorites
For bushcraft I think learning how to make and throw a spear is much more useful
Of course slingshots are fun
Wow! This thing is going to make a great little project for me and my son to do this weekend! Thanks for the video!
Yes..go for it!!
You are single-handedly responsible for my choice to switch from a single-blade folder to a SAK for EDC. I've never regretted that choice, so thanks for all that you do.
hello Kevin. Well done :-D
I wholeheartedly agree with you!
If you use the Swiss Army knife as Felix shows us, we can survive anything. ☺️👍✌️🇬🇧

@@Mark-uo4nf You have excellent taste, sir! My go-to SAK is a ranger too. It offers a lot for the price.
I love the style of this Video ... no Music, no Naratation, no boring talking ... just self-explanatoring Movie. Great!!!
Thank you so much!

You should open a museum with all things you crafted with swiss knives. I would like to visit it another day.
Thank you for your compliment! 😂
He could build a museum with just a SAK. :)
I have seen many different slingshots. I did it myself many times. but I see such an interesting model for the first time. Good very good!
