"Urban farms are exploding in popularity across the country. No matter the size of your city, you can bet someone is taking advantage the space in a vacant lot or an empty rooftop to grow fresh produce. Chicago has become one of the most popular cities for urban gardening, and entrepreneurs there are innovating in growing methods like agroponics in abandoned warehouses."

This was probably one of the most beautiful video in your channel😍😍
Great video! I was born and raised in Chicago and have visited some of these attractions. Another amazing and beautiful garden is the Lurie Gardens. Designed by Piet Oudolf, it features a wonderful array of native perennials, shrubs and trees. I work right next to the Lurie gardens and often stop by during my lunch break to take in the beauty of this amazing garden.
As a Dallasite, I confess my love for Chicago. It's always been about the food but now it's about these wonderful garden views. Thank you so much!!!
Mr. Smith, thanks again for taking us on another Awesome field trip. Beautiful.
MAGNIFICENT !!!
Beautiful in every way.
I love the Peterson Victory Garden.Together we can do so much.💕👪
Awesome! Chicago is such a beautiful city. I just recently took my two boys to the Garfield Park Conservatory. Cheers!
Wonderful tour, thank you.
Loved you showed Chicago how we have beautiful gardens in our city. I have front and backyard gardens. Pulled over more 2 dozen cucumbers and mini tomatoes out of my garden beds this year alone. Use grow beds best idea I ever had.
Wished I knew when you were going to be here. I would of loved to have met you. And you're right. Chicago has so many botanical and conservatories to visit. I've been to the Garfield and Lincoln Park conservatories.
Forgot to mention that we live 2 blocks away from the Peterson Garden Project. Next time you're in Chicago we'd love to have you over for a glass of wine in our backyard garden. Cheers! 🥂
Or margaritas ;)
@@SoilandMargaritasYes, a margarita would work just fine 😉
This was great, the goats are freaking awesome!
I ❤ my Beautiful City
Proud of my city! Love the real scientific theme Garfield Park has. The original architect was at the forefront of his time. And the Cook County FPD is great, I just got some bulbs from the Botanic Garden this weekend!
Beautiful! I am a bit south in Indy, but LOVE Chicago!
This was a wonderful video! The only change I would make us eliminate the frantic music in the first segment. Made it hard to concentrate on the speakers.
Love the aquarium landscape! Do you know the name of the Calamintha variety?
The beauty almost drowns out the sporadic sounds of gun fire....
Looks like I need to travel back to Chicago.
She needed to say that chewing was first used by Native Americans.
