They are absolutely stunning, thank you for sharing
Interesting to see how ppl utilize their outdoor space, big or small, to create a corner of beauty.
That’s what I love the most about the garden tours, seeing all the different ways people garden!
Oh my goodness how cool! I may have to venture out your way next year and check that out! It's always so fun seeing what other people do! Your bouquets were beautiful!
You definitely should!!
Thank you for the flowers! Ours are still alive and sitting on our kitchen window sill :)
Yay I’m so happy to hear that!!!
That waterfall coming out of the little statue with the bucket is amazing! Your neighborhood seems so relaxed and gorgeous...you fit in perfectly
Thank you!!! When you make a Chicago visit I will tour you all around!
@@ChicagoGardener I want the cat tour
So pretty...little surprise around every corner...thanks for sharing 🤩
I’m glad you enjoyed it!!
Very interesting to see the gardens in the neighborhood 🌱⛲️🌸🌝👍
I think it is wonderful of you to put bouquets out for people to take and enjoy................Nancy
Chicago really is a great city of neighborhoods. Very walkable, driveable, friendly, ethnic, festive - can u tell I was born & raised there? Don’t even start me on the lake! Thanks for sharing. Ur garden is amazing & so relaxing!
I do love it here! Are you still in the city?
Moved to NM 20 years ago but still come to Chicago regularly-family. Miss it so much. Lived in Andersonville area & had a beautiful garden. Would walk around neighborhood & to the lake just to view people’s landscaping/gardens. Fun watching ur tour!
Your little bouquets are so lovely! You are so generous with your time and money to make them for the garden walk.
What a treat to see the beautiful gardens. People really take pride in them and it shows. Love all the water features that many gardens had. So peaceful and soothing.
Too bad Harley wasn't around. I'm a cat person so I was eager to see him.
It's kind of silly, but I love that Lionel Ritchie "Hello" flag. I'll have to try to find one.
I loved the flag so much too! That song gets stuck in my head every time I pass by it 😆
You inspired me to pick some wild flowers and made a bouquet
It’s so much fun to do!
Awesome neighborhood!
Thanks for taking us along. The gardens are all gorgeous.
Beautiful
The bouquets look beautiful! This walk always happens on my birthday weekend and I always die from the heat. I use to take my daughter in her little stroller and go on this walk. Tiring but beautiful! Glad you were part of it! 💕🌸
It was slightly less hot this year than last year thankfully but I was still sweating 🤣
Your video really showcases the variety of the garden walk. Besides the beauty and whimsy of the gardens, my favorite part is seeing the community come together to celebrate our neighborhood and each other. There was a palpable feel good energy that weekend! P.S. My husband and I were the ones who met you on Saturday! My bouquet is still going strong. :)
Yay I’m so happy to hear that!! It went even better than I expected and I’m so happy with the turnout.
I sure do wish my neighborhood did something like this.
First time viewer here and loving your decks. My favorite is the back deck with all the borrowed landscape views of the beautiful green trees. Also red brick is one of my all time visuals in gardens. Are you in an apartment? Wow, those pots on the front garden gate look amazing with the iron fencing. Those little bouquets are adorable! Was your favorite with the incredible brick and waterfalls someones personal home? Amazing!!!!! I did love the one with the little water and stone seating area with the tree stump stools!!!! Do you collect those little bottles all year, and do people get to keep them? They are so pretty!
We're in a house but the decks are the only place I have to garden! The waterfall is at a house too, isn't it incredible? For the jars, I save throughout the year for my regular giveaway bouquets but I got vases especially for the walk because I wanted something smaller.
@@ChicagoGardener well at 73, I have been to many a garden your, and I think this is the sweetest gesture ever!
Love your back deck because of all the color. Front one has alot of green. Pots on the fence was a lovely idea. Thoroughly enjoyed the garden walk.
That’s why I love the back deck too! I try not to say that too much around my front deck though 😆
I love your favorite garden! It’s gorgeous, especially all that beautiful brick work and the water feature. Wow! Chicago is so beautiful. I grew up there near Addison and Southport if you know that area. I’m in Iowa now but get back to visit as much as I can which sadly isn’t as much as I’d like. This video made me feel like I was there. Thank you so much!
I do know Addison and Southport! You were pretty close to Wrigley?
Wow Chicago is beautiful I love all the beautiful garden's greetings from my butterfly garden in ft Lauderdale 😊
Omg I’m jealous of your warm weather down there!
@@ChicagoGardener the butterflies are laying egg's all over the passion vine plants and the pipe vine plant and the gulf fritillaries and Julia's and of course the Monarch's on the milk weed yes it is pretty toasty here today in the 90s.
I can't forget the zebra long wings too .
Here in the UK we have the Open Gardens Scheme which runs from Easter to end of September🌺
Really loved the tour of the gardens and your front and back displays were so beautiful. ❤❤
Thank you so much!
I love this garden walk and have attended in several times. It's always amazing to see everyone's plant combinations and creativity in their garden. Great video!
Thank you!!
Love your garden tour, and your garden is lovely.
Thank you so much!
Really enjoyed the garden walk. Few were really stunning. Thanks for showing us around. It would be great if you could share some light on how to make arrangements of plants in the front porch mainly perennials like color contrast complementing each other.
Beautiful gardens and thank you for sharing.
Are people allowed to take the glass containers with the bouquets? I want to try this but I don't want to continue buying glass containers 😊
I let them but you could wrap up some bouquets and put them all in a bucket for people to grab just the flowers!
Bethany ( 11:20 ), "If I had a yard it would look like this!"
That is SOOOOoooo my dream, too, and I actually have a yard! LoL I am trying so hard to make as much of it like this as I can!!
The one at 12:49 is so amazing, too! You showed that last year and it is STILL enthralling!
AWESOME tours!!!
What’s so funny is just walking down the sidewalk, you’d never know this was in the backyard! It’s a secret oasis.
I really enjoyed this video! I wish I'd been in town that weekend.
We went on a family road trip, and I was able to walk around the Garden Diatrict in New Orleans and some historic neighborhoods in Mobile, AL. They were stunning!
That sounds incredible! I need to add those to my places to visit.
All just so beautiful! Is there a website I can go to so to subscribe about future garden walks?
On Instagram, follow @sheffieldgardenwalk! Next year it will be July 19 & 20.
Thank you for sharing all the beautiful gardens in your area. Chicago is beautiful 😻 All of the gardens look great. Love them. Greetings from Logan Square ❤
