Fishing and Spencer videos are 2 of my favorite things. Thanks for taking us along.
Thats awesome man. Glad ya dig em.
@@RiverCertified what kinda kayak do u use
Fun fact, I live in Brazil and thank God I’ve never seen a Brazilian Wandering Spider, man, that’s a creepy thing!
That brush pile fishing is absolutely amazing! There’s always some fish in those places!
Thanks for sharing, Spencer 🤝
When I was in Guyana I was always keeping a look out for bird eating turantulas. Fortunately, I never ran into one. I love fishing those brushpiles. You never know what will swim out of them! Thanks man!
Your videos are awesome. I only just found your channel a few days ago and man have I binged so many of them. Thank you, and thanks to Josh for the introduction.
Man, that's awesome. Glad you dig 'em so much.
I bet Josh is loving seeing you use a stache stick. Great video once again sir.
I bet he does. It's honestly a darn nice fishing rod. Thanks for watching.
I have been behind on getting out. Life keeps interfering. Glad to see someone still out there.
It definitely happens to the best of us man. Hope you find some time soon.
Dude, heights are frickin terrifying. Right there with ya. Do a Fall Chub video for us. I can never find em after the weather breaks. Do they go deeper, or in the cover, or....? I mean, they still gotta eat.
What a guy, going out to personally check on the health of the fish in low water conditions. A man of vision. Lol, thanks for the vid.
Hahaha I try to live a selfless life such as that. Thanks for watching.
A lovely calm river. Thank you for taking us all the way with this fishing trip.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Near retirement here in the UK but hoping to start some River Fishing. Sadly my kayak is closed. That means I sit in a cockpit. Probably on manage one small rod and will need to set up some way of securing everything just behind me! Wish me luck! 🤔
It's great to just fish and not think about a thing sometimes 👍👍
Amen to that. Thanks for watching!
Spence thanks for taking us along on Your journey. I was drinking my morning coffee for ya buddy hope it helped some. Hahah
Keep a baited hook and a tight line buddy.
That’s a fun trip. Get fall weather. We’ll have a good one and sharp hooks to ya
Ha! Clever stab at Stache. Maybe catch a bullhead, drum, or carp. Ouch. Oh, and that was cool of you to put him on the spot for that nice cat.
Spencer…. Just started the video … I know it’s going to be great! Anyways, my 2023 season is over…. It looks warm there? It’s been in the 40s in the morning plus the River wind …. I’m good. I still watch my video of that, now official, 34 1/4 inches long channel I caught. I’m extremely happy with that catch. I owe it to you because I had many many trial and errors. That’s when I searched for catfishing videos and found you. First thing I learned and did was change my line to a heavier lbs. That enabled me to use heavier sinkers and cast much further in the lakes. In the rivers, I learned that I do not need to be way out in the current. Just far enough to slowly drag my shrimp down River.
Thanks for the videos…. Much appreciated !
Dan
FYI … I hope I made sense .. I’m now 50 and it’s hard to type especially after I took my loopy meds 🤤🤤
Spencer, this is my iPhone account.
I just wanted to add that I caught that channel after casting near a tree pile. I only did that was because you said on many videos that those are good spots.
I was hesitant only because I didn’t want to get snagged. But I did get snagged with my channel cat river monster!
Ty you again
Dan
Sorry for typing a lot!!
Just excited that I caught a channel cat that was close to the Connecticut State record. Which was verified by the state DEEP fisheries. Even the fisheries was impressed, and did a quick survey about date, time, location and bait. They were also happy to see I caught it in the Housatonic River, which is not a common area for channel cats. So they were happy to see a potential population of channel cats in this river.
Totally enjoyed the trip Spencer.👍💯
Glad to hear it. Thanks for watching Jeff!
"It don't rain in Iowa anymore" I felt that one. It's amazing how in a matter of a year we went from some of the best fishing conditions ever to the worst. We are feeling it all over the midwest, except for maybe Oklahoma....they got it all this year.
A great time on the water makes a good time ,great video
It was definitely a great time. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I enjoy cold catfish just as much as I do when it's hot
Great stuff as always brother!! 👍🏾👊🏾✊🏾🙂💯
Absolutely man! I appreciate ya!
"Got a feelin'. Hooked on it actually"... A nod to the old BJ Thomas song? :)
Yessir. Glad you caught that haha
Good fishing 🎣 good times hope you catch a giant.
Great video! Thanks for sharing!
God bless all here.
Another fun video, thanks for taking us along with you
You bet man. Glad you enjoyed it.
Man i would love to go on a river fishing trip, never have been. But catching a 50+ lb catfish is my dream..... bucket list!
And for the record...my sons first 2 years of baseball was on team cubs!!....go Cubbies!
Wished I had a kayaking was fishing with you brother
Belted Kingfisher is also my favorite bird. I'd say he's the river certified mascot, they sit on brush and drop in for the fish. Much like yourself my friend. 📣🍻🍻
I never thought of them as mascots, but it will be hard not to from here on out. Thanks for watching man!
Can I get a RC shirt with a Kingfisher logo on it, in the future??... huh... huh... 👀👀🤣
Had to wait till 10 tonight to get home to do something I enjoy. Watching you video. Thank you for providing the best of my day. Stay safe.
the Iowa River is very low in Johnson County. hopefully a mild winter ahead and the fish can make it as best they can. Its been turtle and carp city in a lot of places
I'm hoping the same. It's getting pretty ridiculous. Thanks for watching.l man.
Well done as always, sir.
Great one, Spencer. I always enjoy your videos.
Thanks Glenn. I'm glad ya do.
Really enjoy watching your video's I've been recovering from spinal surgery back the end of july and have been learning to walk again so I've only gotten to go out on my boat to fish once since I put trim on it so I could fish but plan on getting out there more before winter hits your videos keep me entertained spencer thanks stay safe out the on the water
I hope you keep improving. I suppose at this point, it's all you can ask for. I hope you're able to get out soon.!
Wonder how many times we say ope while were fishing and what the definition is🤯. Them foatheads are chowing on them small channels when the water is low like that. In my experience anyway. My favorite condition to use bullheads. Great vid and keep your powder dry and your pantry stocked young man 💪😎🙏🏻
Awesome video Spencer. This has been a really good trip to watch. You have rocked the fish. Not sure Sam would recognize you not taking snacks tho. Also saw you had a stache stick early in the video and I got the same one. Fun action on med light. Thanks for the trip man. Always look forward to it.
I'm glad you enjoyed it. Sam knows I can go a while without food. He also knows I get cranky on an empty stomach haha. Those stache are way too nice for Josh haha.
Nice river trip. Love the kayak floats, and the relaxed pace.
Man it's good to see you in the yak
It's always nice to switch it up a bit. Thanks for watching.
Your kayak videos like this are my favorite- thanks for putting them up even with the tough fishing conditions!
It was a fun trip regardless of water conditions. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Another great video Spencer. When you come on with another video its very relaxing to me. Almost wish your videos were an hour long. Ya caught some fine fish and you fishing out of your Kayak is pretty neat also. Take care Spencer and stay safe. God bless you and yours.
Y'alls River looks like ours the Guadalupe River close to comfort Texas. A lot of it has gone dry need a big heavy rain quick.
I've gotta get me one of them kayaka things , pretty cool clip on dovee-lacky thing . Top video mate 👍
They're pretty handy for getting where a boat can't. Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks Spencer!
Gladly man!
Man I enjoy the hell out of the kayak videos and the catch, cook, and clean vids are great also. When your in the boat their great also. I just found your channel when you were doing mostly kayak vids and I couldnt stop myself from going back and watching all your vids. Keep em coming.
I get it man. Ya like what ya like. I'll be out in the kayak again before it gets too cold. Thanks for watching!
Yeah buddy keep catching those fish and keep the rivers flowing all the time!!!
I'm definitely gonna keep trying. Thanks for watching man!
Another good one Spencer. These are great
Glad you enjoyed it sir.
@ 20:37 , yes sir , that's dedication , hahaha
Goes with the territory the last few years. Thanks for watching!
enjoy how real you keep it , and how chill you are when fishing , thanks @@RiverCertified
Love seeing you back in the kayak.
Glad ya enjoy it man
Looks like south of Sigourney on the skunk? That big sand bar looks familiar lol
yet another relaxing vid from ya spencer, please keep it up ill always be here..... lurking
Hell yeah a stach stick. I need one
They're definitely sweet rods.
Best way to end a work day. Watching my favorite channel. Thank you for that amazing content.
Hell yeah. Take 'er easy man.
👍👍👍👍👍🎣video calm river ride and fishing
Glad you enjoyed it!
You and your videos are a breath of fresh air
I'm happy to hear that. Thank you for watching.
Love the content river around here was 1.27 it was a blast
Look at you. Got you a Stache Stick. They do seem to be pretty decent rods. You use ‘em for sandies. He uses ‘em for flathead.
Haha I vote he uses them to fish blade baits and catches whatever he catches.
Perfect way to end my day. 😊
Hell yeah man!
Great episode
Glad you enjoyed it man!
It be awesome to fish with you someday
You the man , tight lines Captain Spencer 🐟🐟🐟
Thanks dude! I appreciate ya!
I literally had to bail on river fishing for most of this year because of our stupid drought.... I might get a chance here for a few more outings before ice up!
It's definitely been a bummer. Hope you get out on the water man!
All right, now we officially have a bunch in common, spiders and hights me too! Like you said, easy to avoid one but our passion puts us in direct proximity of one at least!
I've had to learn to deal with it. With that being said, I'm not cuddling with any spiders haha
Spence outside of the trip with Jim down at redrock I’m pretty sure I fished in a avg of 4 ft or less most of this year on the Des Moines and Raccoon and as much as it pains me to say, I hope we have some actual snow fall this year so next year starts off with some deeper water. I don’t have a boat or kayak so most of my flathead spots where nonexistent tho I did do pretty good at the fork right there at the Cubbies stadium. Love the vids and love even more that I found you at around 20k and you are already up over 150k and by the end of next year you going to be over 300k💯💯
It is what it is at this point. I'll be mainly fishing the Missouri and Mississippi rivers the rest of the year. Glad you're getting a few man.
Loving your channel!! Found you a couple months ago. Playing catch up now. You look like a young Chael Sonnen.
Glad ya dig the videos man. Funny you say that, I keep hearing that a bunch. If only I was as tough as him haha
This guys my favorite youtuber
Thanks a ton dude
You know we love seeing ya in the kayak going down some real free flowing rivers great video 👍💥 I think you would love the Potomac river . Actually have rocks and brush 😂
I am due to do a kayak fishing trip somewhere. Probably won't go that far, but I'm gonna do something a little crazy.
@@RiverCertified Sounds good can’t wait to see it . I think you have some decent rivers like that semi close . Look around Missouri and Arkansas I’m sure they have some decent rivers rolling through ozarks . Bass channel cats and maybe a lucky flat head look below old dams or falls in good flowing rivers that’s where the flatties concentrate. Man I’m the Potomac up by me in Cumberland the water super clear when it’s low and you float over holes and look down and see 30-50 channel cars in spots . I pull off to side and cast cut bait (fall fish) I catch along the way and livers and you can straight wreck them cats . Good times and small mouth bass fish along the way. I guarantee some rivers similar to that in Missouri and Arkansas near the mountains. New places always a good time as well no matter how the fishing is buddy. Enjoy 😉 only live once right !💯👍
I take a sawyer water filtration system with me on every trip just in case. You never know what can happen with trying to stay hydrated.
I have a filtration bottle, I just hate the idea of using it in midwestern rivers.
@@RiverCertified lol I dove right into it the first time I took it out and was filtering out some chocolate milk from the middle when it was running higher last year. When I say I’m picky about how my water tastes I was really surprised and couldn’t tell the difference between bottled water and filtered. Never got sick either which I don’t have an iron gut either.
U and josh need another overnite adventure kayak sandbar
Always Spencer 😊!!
Thank you very much!
Did you know that the belted king fisher beats it’s prey to death then makes its nest out of the regurgitated remains. 😁
I did not, but it makes me like them more😆
Can you do a video of setting up a kayak for hauling? Do you use a car, truck etc?
It would be pretty short. I just toss it in the bed of my truck haha
Cool that you rep your friends too, I wear all my idiot/best friends gear pumping small business…I’m a fan
RIVER RATS 🐀 UNITED 🤘
Hell yeah!
Good idea for a shirt. My River Certified shirt is awesome.
Damn straight
I think my two biggest fears are spiders and my finger going thru the toilet paper.
That's definitely up there too haha
Had the biggest fish(or some other large underwater creature) I ever hooked do that to me...but it popped off about the time I got the rod out of the holder....wish I could have caught it...some boys a couple weeks later caught a 60+ pound flathead not 200 yards up from that spot.
Did they get your hook back? That would be super cool/a slap in the face. Hope you get another shot at that fish.
Is ur new boat going to be a jet or are u going to a prop boat? I have a 16 48 40 murc.i just love the jet and yak videos man keep it up!!!!
It'll be a prop, so I'll either be in the kayak on small rivers or in Ryan's jet. This way we can fish all the waters more effectively.
Can you do a salt water kyak trip please 😮😮😮
Congrats, you got a gal way over your pay grade to get to Feesh and camp like you do ! Ms.Ella Thanks wish more Gals were like you , who understand Feesh Addiction!
It ain't all fairy tales and lollipops, but I'm pretty darn fortunate for sure. Thank you for watching sir!
What's made you switch switch all your wiskerseekeer cat rods to your custom rods you make? BTW loving the catfish video I wish I could catfish rightnow but up in MN it's walleye grind for me.
I would say that was a real successful float trip! Did you catch over 50 fish?
It was definitely a lot of fun. All together I probably got a couple dozen. I only included the bigger ones and the better clips in the video.
Dope Bob
Thanks man
At the 11 minute mark of this video you were using a demon dragon do you have a video on how you rig that up!! I just bought my very first set of demon dragons just want to set it up correctly!
I don't, but I usually just tie the leader to each end. I think that's the strongest way to do it. I'm definitely a fan. Hope you catch some fish on 'em!
Thank you sir I appreciate it!!
I wish we had freshwater drum here.
They're a lot of fun. I'd definitely recommend making a trip for them someday.
So weird but it will come back
Man I hope so. Thanks for watching.
Digging that shirt man. It clashes with the cubby blue tho, Cardinal red wood look more betters😎
Cubbies blue matches everything, especially camo😆
@@RiverCertified 🤣
What is that floaty thing you are resting on the water with? Didn't I see a video not too long ago about a certain topic?
The "Rivers" near me have all turned too Cricks.
You're definitely not alone there. Thanks for watching.
He bit he ran. Might be Josh in scuba gear.
Haha I'll keep my eyes out for that now that you mentioned it
Great video. what kayak are you using now?
Glad ya enjoyed it. It's a crescent shoalie.
I've noticed you've been using tiny baits lately, are they better in the fall??
I usually downsize when the fishing gets tough like it's been.
What happened to the new Canoe?
Attaboy 👊
Thanks Denny!
Hey Spencer, who is the guy you fish with I believe in Tennessee? The red head? I wanted to go follow his channel but can’t remember his name. lol
His name's Marc. The channel is Top Knox Fishing. Definitely let him know who told ya. Thanks for watching!
What brand are the new reels ?
So are you a guide?if so what do you charge for a day?
Do you use flouro for all your leaders?
Almost. I don't use floro for flatheads only because the heavy line is so stiff live baits don't struggle as much.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
What do you think about big fish 108 or 103
Kayak
♥
Lets gooooo
Yessir!
The skunk river is as bad as I've ever seen it. Haven't caught a flatty on the south since mid may.
That really sucks man. Fingers crossed we have a mild, snowy winter.
Josh would use worms
You ain't wrong.
Do anybody have a big fish kayak 108 or 103
That’s the lowest I’ve seen the river in a long time at home.
It's the lowest it's been in my lifetime.
