If she were to be called _respectful and calm,_ it would also not be special because women officers are more often expected to be, or viewed as, calm and respectful and passive compared to male officers. So first off, it wouldn't be anything new, whereas a male police officer being both hot _and_ calm/respectful is typically seen as unusual. Secondly, when women randomly compliment men, there is usually not a feeling of threat or unease attatched to it from the part of the man. Because women are physically inferior to men in strength, they don't pose a threat, even if they are actively interested in the man in an unsolicited way. By contrast, when women are complimented by random men, especially in a way that is indicative of the man being physically attracted to her, then that woman has cause to feel intimidated or even _afraid_ if the man persists. @@user-su2ou2zx6k probably not. If a man called a woman officer _hot,_ it wouldn't be special to the officer cuz if she is a hot woman then she's probably used to compliments. If she were to be called _respectful and calm,_ it would also not be special because women officers are more often expected to be, or viewed as, calm and respectful and passive compared to male officers. So first off, it wouldn't be anything new, whereas a male police officer being both hot _and_ calm/respectful is typically seen as unusual.
Secondly, when women randomly compliment men, there is usually not a feeling of threat or unease attatched to it from the part of the man. Because women are physically inferior to men in strength, they don't pose a threat, even if they are actively interested in the man in an unsolicited way.
By contrast, when women are complimented by random men, especially in a way that is indicative of the man being physically attracted to her, then that woman has cause to feel intimidated or even _afraid_ if the man persists. Because men are physically stronger. And as a stranger, the woman has no reason not to believe that the man might get physical around her based on his interest in her, in which case she would be able to do little to nothing against his unsolicited praise or affections. Obviously, a trained police officer wouldn't fear this as much, but as a woman, it still tends to appear intimidating when a random man gives a lot of compliments. If the man was a small child or a frail old man, then it wouldn't be.
And that is the difference between how men percieve compliments from random women, and how women percieve compliments from random men, on the basis of the threat they each instinctively feel from it. And that's the reason why men complimenting women can be seen as "creepy", whereby women complimenting men, though still weird and unusual, isn't creepy.

I came into the video expecting it would be a little too much but she delivered her message in a very respectful way. She didn’t just say that he was ‘hot’, she complimented who he was too. HOWEVER, if the young man didn’t appreciate it then respectfully, it shouldn’t have happened. (But again, it was an ‘attractive’ woman to one’s subjective standards then I don’t think you would be making this comment, am I correct?
