Great video. Very informative. It's great to see that safety is at your forefront in this video. A lot of people just do not realize how important a PFD is. As you said the proper PFD is also important. One thing I would like to add is a 360 light with some sort of a flag, preferably orange. The light is for the anglers that like to be on the water before first light and is required in my state its also great for low light days. The orange flag is for Safety. The better that you are seen the safer you will be! More and more companies are acknowledging Kayak Anglers now. I myself are a Kayak Tournament Angler based out of Central Texas and a Kayak Team Manager with All Starr Fishing. Safety is first with us. Keep up the great work and look forward to your next video!

Great video Paul. Some of this is totally relevant to boaters too

In those conditions I would say you also needed a dry suit

Some kind of rain gear is a must for me, at least here in SETX. Those pesky showers that are here one moment and gone the next drop down enough water to make you soggy and salty the rest of the day 😅. I agree and with everything else you said

I got ran off the lake Saturday because of the wind. Waves coming over and into my kayak wasn’t fun.

PFD? Whats the point of having it in boat if you don't wear it ?

Sometimes its better to be uncomfortable than unlucky.
