    I love drawing in public, and i often speak to other artist in London. I like drawing animals, so often go the zoo and have done
    this since I was 14. Kids are very nosy and the zoo is full of them in the summer, I just engage with them and carry on drawing.
    Amsterdam has a very nice, especially its name, " Artist" .A tip on drawing zoo animals, reptiles sit very still for long hours, and unusual small mammals draw little attention to them, and are usually in quiet corners. Porcupines are great subjects. Sloths rarely move, and anteaters sleep a lot. But going to the zoo in winter is really good, with so few people around.

      Thanks for your tips! Artis, indeed, is a wonderful place - not just for their animals but also their garden (and drawing the visitors/people!)

    I too used to be a bit shy about letting others see me sketch and paint in public. Over time that wore off. Now I have noticed most all of the folks who look over my shoulder or ask to see what I am doing do so because they liked what I was doing. I’ve received so many compliments and not one negative comment. I guess the negative types just don’t have the time to complain about my talents or lack thereof. And yes, I think I did see this one some time ago. Doesn’t mean it isn’t something I wanted to see again. In fact, I think I picked up some more ideas by seeing it. Enjoy your vacation. Stay safe and healthy. Look forward to your return. I have a feeling you will have more for us to see.

    Loved this video and recognize this cafe from a video you made a while ago. Yes, I love sketching myself focused on my work and really being able to enjoy that experience without feeling like I am ignoring my companion. I just purchased a Sailor pen this week (along with your book on Amazon) and am really having fun with it.

      Thanks! I can take over an hour too, for drawing. It depends on the size of my paper, my tools and the time available.

    Drawing on the go! Thanks for the upload, I can't wait to read through your book when it releases. Even on vacation, an artist simply can't resist drawing the world.

    BOY! You’ve been magically able to make that super complex scene come alive in your sketchbook!!! I’m going to look through your playlist to see if you have videos explaining how to approach a scene with this many elements, maybe what to do first so the perspective isn’t wonky.

    • @KoosjeKoene
      @KoosjeKoene  2 года назад +1

      You'll find a few helpful videos, and you'll also find out that a wonky perspective doesn't need to be a bad thing!

    Loving your draw too Tuesday’s thank you! Do you take a bottle of water out with you to clear your brush pen or just wipe it between colours? X

    • @KoosjeKoene
      @KoosjeKoene  2 года назад

      I wipe it between colours - one of the benefits of a waterbrush is that you don't need to bring a bottle of water. Check out this video for more info: ruclips.net/video/dq8UHZSd6KM/видео.html

      I used a Hahnemühle Nostalgie A6 Sketchbook. I guess the paper is considered multimedia.

    Hi you have any advice for working people. I come back from work tired and without inspiration. How to recover quickly and start drawing.

    • @KoosjeKoene
      @KoosjeKoene  2 года назад

      Maybe my book will help. In it, I write about 'stacking habits', making time, and how you can incorporate a drawing habit in your daily (working) life.
