why do you feel the need to gatekeep a game? A lot of good players are clickers and \ or keyboard turners. This game is easy, always has been.

I know it’s a total meme to make fun of Petri and hate it but honestly, if I’m gonna pour hundreds of hours into a character that is one death away from being gone for good, I can use as many expensive get out of jail free cards as I want in raids and instances.
ESPECIALLY when I am far more likely to die because of some dad gamer in my raid not clicking the AQ20 crystal or a tinyviolin secret character appearance than my own mistake.

That’s actually a really fair thing to say about petri. I thought they were pretty stupid but you are right in that in endgame you’re most likely going to die because of someone else (dad gamer). Makes sense that to have a healthy HC community you need these get out of jail tools because spending hundreds of hours in something that you don’t have any gtfo items available is actually really dumb.

I would play hardcore light, where death means you can’t play that character for 2 weeks and death counter next to own name. Also, if playing character that died before, then that character can only receive things in trades/auction, not give things in trade or sell things in auction. Deaths in any instanced pvp doesn’t count. Lastly, characters that died before can no longer take part in world pvp.
Basically on death, locked out of character for 2 weeks, and can no longer give in trades, only receive.

@@Huba18400 People against peti are usually people who haven't raided in HC, or lost a 60 char, and just want to watch 40 people die for the spectacle of it.
