Well it may have taken 300 years to get here but Look Mum No Computer has finally cracked the code. Who new a Furby powered synthesizer is the proper way to listen to Vivaldi in the modern age.

My parents were eclectic music lovers - and when I was young, one of my favourite vinyl albums of theirs was Switched-On Bach by American composer Wendy Carlos. (For those who don't know, it's covers of J.S. Bach's music on the classic Moog Synthesizer). Hearing Vivaldi get a similar (but distinct) treatment is deeply appealing to me.
My parents were classical music snobs, but my Dad was into electronics and thought Switched on Bach was cool. We wore out more than 1 8-track tape recording of it.
I'm sure you'll know this, but, Wendy Carlos also did the soundtrack for Clockwork Orange, which features many other classical pieces done in a similar style.
It was great to hear RUclips Colinfurze use this track on his "Digging a SECRET GARAGE Part 1" video and even credited this channel int he video description. 😁👍💖💖💖
I can literally see Vivaldi sitting in his chair, listing to the intro of this with a doubtful look in his eyes. And then when the beat drops at 00:17. Crashing down from his chair by utter astonishment.
Beaauuuty fooool . Thank you. My music teacher over 30 years ago was organist/cantor on the baroque church organ till his dead some years ago. Cause of him, and with your electronic baroque music, I feel 30 years younger. Timeless.
Just listened to all four seasons, just wanted to say THANK YOU I needed that. I've always loved Wendy Carlos and Tomita, and your interpretation holds up sir, and with your own unique voice, love it!
@LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER - What makes this sound even better is knowing you made the instruments it's playing on too. Bravo! You're giving JMJ a run for his money! 👍🏻
Oh goodness this is so fire! I love this series, or whatever you'd call it. These midi arrangements on modular are magic. I would love to be able to do this too, would you ever be so kind as to give us a breakdown of your midi setup and process?
Loved it! Especially the part at 02:12. What's the function of the Furby and what does the Dymo tape below it say? "Warning: Do Not Feed", "Do not look directly at subject", and what else?
I heard this and, without looking, immediately my brain was like "is this the A Clockwork Orange' soundtrack? Great job :) very thick analog sounds, and it almost makes me nostalgic for that, though the arrangement obviously changes later on
Awesome damn, Sam I tend to watch every of your videos but since I started my study I have no longer the time, I'm sorry but every song that I notice I always listen to them and never regret it. Keep going
Vivaldi really works well with synth. I have the Clockwork Orange soundtrack, and they have synth versions of Beethoven that work really well. Makes me wonder what other music can be improved with synth?
I have done more Classical Songs On analog synth, here is the playlist :- ruclips.net/video/suFMi8VHopQ/видео.html
Diggin your tunes, sent by Colin Furze.
no pun intended! haha
⛏⛏⛏
The Furby does make it look like the Modified Toy Orchestra are involved with this.
I would pay money to have a FLAC/WAV version of this. This is amazing! Even Spotify? 10/10 would listen often.
Oh, Colin Furze send me here :)
me toooooooooo hahahhahaha
Good Job Furze sent us here innit
I want it on vinyl, very badly, pleeezzz
I downloaded the OPUS track from this video and see frequencies up to 20 KHz on the spectogram. Would you compare this to flac?)
@@TitusvonderMalsburg yessssss
Vivaldi lowkey retroactively dropped the hottest synthwave banger of 2023. Shits and giggles aside, stellar arrangement as always mate!

@@darrelll8282 Oh, don't worry - it came through even for me, being a German … 😁
It's giving to me some "A Clockwork Orange" vibes. Could totally fit in it.
greetings from france :)
I definitely got Wendy Carlos vibes from it
@@pickyyeeter Switched On Vivaldi, ha! :)
Yep, I'm getting a fusion of Wendy Carlos, JMJ and OMD
Wendy Carlos would be proud!
Totally Carlos. I was thinking Switched on Bach.
This actually made me cry
The music is cool but I'm sitting here staring at the Furby and all I can really hear is it going "waaahhhhhh"
will he do all 4 seasons? that'd be nice
ill do all but 1, cus it would be unkeeping with any of my other projects if i go further than 75 percent completion :D
Four Seasons @ the Four Seasons?

Nifty! Now do it on the *_Church organ!_*
If he has this as a MIDI file it probably wouldn't be too hard.

Their battle will be legendary
Jonathan Scott performed this on an organ!
Colin Furze sent me here. Love your work. Cant wait to check out your other videos!
This is absolutely perfect! That skinned furby is horrifying though :D Looks like some fnaf endoskeleton.
Ngl, I'm a complete nerd for classical, and this is my favorite piece. So glad to see you've covered it.

Another fantastic arrangement. This was the movement I actually studied in my Music O Level class, so I've always been fond of it. Thanks!
This music is absolutely out of this world. I cant get enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Phenomenal tone and arrangement!
This is truly breathtaking.

Nearly 300 years old and still rocking. Thanks so much for covering one of my favorite pieces of music.

Totally agree...That beat-drop is heavenly!🙏
Amazing.
My favourite of the set, really well done on all of these!
It's like 'Switched on Bach'. Awesome
grande Samuelone! this stuff is great! old Antonio would be proud of you!
It's been thirty or forty years since, but the sounds here makes me feel I'm watching A Clockwork Orange.
New background music for Colin Furze just dropped
I like how you handled the tempo changes. A great sound overall. Would be interesting to know what is the master and how it's all being sequenced.
Yes I'd like to know some gory details myself.
just here from last video of colin furze, very good cover!
Imagine making this a road show and coming down to Australia to do fringe events with this setup. It’s so good!
Oh, it is not just my favorite composer, but also my favorite season from all Vivaldi's Four Seasons!
Winter - Largo (Second movement) is one of the most beautiful pieces ever written. Please continue the project!
Excellent addition to the A4Mk2 knowledge base. Clear and concise 👍
Definitely my favourite of the four

Now on the organ 😜❤️
I can't wait to have all 4 of these videos & then All 4 of them on the Pipe Organ to compare.
That was fantastic, mate. Close your eyes and youd think it was either Rick Wakeman or Vangelis playing this piece.
This is magnificent.
This is so awesome!! Excellent!!
Daum brotha you are on 🔥🔥🔥 what PONC sounds! love it!!! saludos compadre!!!!
Amazing work! Think the best synth take on a classical piece I've heard. The rhythm goes hard
i love this stuff so much
Like a punch card steam organ for the 21st century, very impressive
One of my absolute favorite pieces. You did it justice! Fantastic work
When the drums kick in!!
"Oh no, the groundhog saw it's shadow. Six more WEEKS of winter!"
Sounds awesome. I’d enjoy a video where Sam shows how he composed the analog covers.
He's a genius! Huge fan! Best synth sound ever!

Whos here from Collin Furze??!

Wow dude, great job on this section of Vivaldi. I liked the higher camera angle also vs four seasons original dark motif

Ah, you have done it again another first class rendition.

I love it! I will not ask for anything more, I just revel in what you have given us. You rock!
Nothing like some warm toasty analog volts to make the ice and snow more tolerable.
You did an amazing job as a son.
Would love to hear full album of classical renditions by you.
Heard this one on the latest ColinFurze-vid, had to check it out. Awesome work :D

This song is perfect for digging a secret underground tunnel!
Very nice interpretation
The right place for this is at La Fenice in Venice, where Vivaldi intended it to be played
