Yeah gold and silver is only going to work to those who are educated as to its value take for instance yesterday I tried catching a taxi cab and paying for a coffee with silver and neither people were educated although Missouri just passed legislation allowing us to pay taxes with silver and gold we are a long ways from a gold standard you have to actually start spending that stuff locally to make this thing work.

Mate, they LITERALLY SAID that they can (which means that they WILL) "program" the CBDC to BAN you from buying this or that or here or there. Current cards that we use now (or phones or whatever) can not be programmed on that level, your card either works or not. I bet you have thousands of ounces of gold and silver but if something happens it will not be used. I think it will be better buying fractional gold and silver moving forwards as very few people will be able to purchase 1 oz coins lets say in the next few years therefore it would be better to purchase 1/2 ounce and 1/10 ounce gold coins.
The point is to swap fiat digital credits for real assets (i.e. gold and silver) don't use CBDC as a store of value. If the power grid is down long term, bullets and beans will be the currency of choice.

You can carry Breakaway gold and silvers cards inside your wallet but to carry one gold coin would be ridiculous because you'd have to go to the shop to cash out for something. Where is if you can break that out on the spot you can go ahead and take care of business then and there.

I don't have a problem with CBDC. Digital cash could be a good option. Since banks are unreliable when it comes to transfers, a CBDC might actually make it quicker and easier to purchase precious metals and other items. Banks are worried about fraud and money laundering so can be a bit overzealous in blocking transactions. However, I am concerned about the removal of physical cash entirely. Cash is a necessity if there are technical problems and card don't work. Accounts could be frozen in the case of identity theft and no cash could seriously hurt someone in the short. Cash is also a useful budgeting tool as people usually spend less if they use physical cash over a card. People should have CBDC as a option but it should not be forced on people.
One way to get around this is to stack about three or four blank checks from your checkbook inside a plastic baggie that measures 3x6 that way if the bank fraud department blocks the card or if the ATM is out of money you'll still be able to possibly write a check to make the purchase or pay the bill. And possibly post-date a check so that you can pay with cash at a later time and just have that company hold on to it.

Ive seen on one of the many other channels i subscribe to where a coin shop owner went out to a flea market to purchase stuff with silver and nobody was interested most didtnt have a clue about it and this was stateside where i thought alot more people were clued into metals,on a different channel same experiment they all excepted silver for payment also stateside so it just depends on who you talk to and who is in the know when it comes to pm's 🤷 you made a very good point to be fair its all about educating the mass'es

cash is legal tender so in the us you can sue a business for not accepting it from what I know but I'm no lawyer

The last time they changed the pound it devalued from 240p to 100p. Gold and Bitcoin will save you from overnight revaluations like that.
