    That's the drift spec, so it's not a shifter but a hydraulic drift hand brake man. 👍🏻

      Thanks mate yes think you're right! Sadly driver crashed it on Sunday! The Ionic 6 also ran into the hsy bales! They're just too heavy! Cheers!

      @@anthonytube I thought the crashed hyundai was the rn22e prototype?
      They are heavy, but so is just about everything these day's ev or not. Compare the weights for yourself and it is very obvious evs are not much if any heavier than similar segment competitors ice model's are. Especially the loaded up one's.
      Example a base model 3 is the same weight as a base rwd 3 series BMW both around 3,500#. Loaded awd BMW with fuel is over 4,000# and the loaded awd LR model 3 is also right at 4,000# heck Shelby mustangs push 4,200# nowadays with options and fueled up. 🙂
      a tesla model s lr weighs the same as a loaded fueled dodge charger 4dr with a supercharged hemi does.
      Lucid air dream weighs the same as a loaded 7 series or the top spec ice mercs.
      A Loaded f-150 hybrid awd crew cab is 5,700# without fuel, the base lightning is 6,000#
      Loaded ram trx or raptor R is 6,300-6,800# with options and fuel onboard them.

      This car hit the bales. It's hard to compare weights as ICE Hyundai's are much lighter as no 4wd or RWD. The Ionic 5 N is crazy heavy and much heavier than a usual hot hatch. Just to heavy to drift effectively. In the EU most hatchbacks in electric form weigh around 300-400kg more due to batteries. I'm sure as technology moves forward batteries will weight less and less!       @@anthonytube ok fair point. Another example is my 2013 Ford focus st2 with fuel weighed 3,450# our 2020 Chevy bolt ev weighs 3,540#
      The tesla model x weighs 5,300-5,500# and can seat up to 7 adults. Any ice SUV with 7 pass seating is going to weigh that or more.
      In fact many ice range rovers with 5 pass seating push 6,000# with fuel and no cargo or passengers onboard.
      Example ice tahoes and suburbans plus loaded expeditions all push 5,500-6,500#with just a full tank of fuel.
      And the hyundai ice kona loaded with fuel is within a few hundred pounds total weight of the current kona ev.
      Semi solid state and solid state pack's will help bring weights down by 6-10% or more on their own. Example the welion nio 140kwh pack that just went on sale only weighs just 44# more than the current 100kwh nmc pack by catl in the same exact size battery case.
      So using semi solid state cells with matching 100kwhs capacity would bring that pack weight down by 450-500# just by switching the cell chemistry. 48v architecture and using the large castings should also help bring the weights down in the next 2+year's or so. 👍🏻

      @@4literv6 Thanks for all this information! Yeah I guess weights will come down with castings, technology and when you compare bigger ice cars, the weight is less of an issue. Exciting times but oh boy the UK is so far behind on the EV roll out! Best wishes Anthony 😁
