- 2022 brings us to the end of four years of story-telling, here on The Black Dog Chronicles and to celebrate that accomplishment, we are going FULL CIRCLE, right back to the very first story ever to be told on the channel.

Definitely mine, as well. The first story I ever read of Lovecraft's was 'The Rats in the Walls', so that has been a long-time favourite. This one however was one of the first live Lovecraft readings I ever did (which was originally recorded on this channel - in terrible quality!) so it seemed a very good time to bring it back.
I'm already standing in line, days in advance, just to listen to Huw Carr read H.P. Lovecraft! 😉 Hey, I just told another horror channel about The Black Dog Chronicles and how amazing Huw Carr is. I hope this brings some more well-deserved subs to you!
It is not simple or easy to bring both elegance and charm to a telling of H.P. Lovecraft's eldritch horror stories, but you do this and you do it well. And I love you for that! 🥰
I am very grateful for your lovely words and for all the support you have given. As I write this, the final render of the story is compiling (with about two hours to go until its completion) and then it will be off to RUclips to begin uploading it. This final story for the year has the most artwork to ever appear on the channel, so it may well be comparable to 'Dagon' and 'The Tractate Middoth' for its richness.
