@ I’d be really surprised if they actually do it but ark 2 hasn’t been mentioned for like 2 years by now and they kinda avoid answering questions about it, like it’s kinda their fault for revealing a game that hasn’t actually had any development when they knew the fans will constantly be asking about it. I truly think that wildcard scrapped it because of ASA and with how small the team is I doubt they’ll be able to make another game. I don’t like being the one in the community say this but that’s what I see, I see no ark 2 happening when they don’t have the time, resources, or enough team members

They released ARK Survival Ascended on the same engine that they are planning to do ARK 2, they surely aren’t shy of releasing features when they aren’t ready yet. What I heard is that ARK 2 is on ice and development stopped, so we don’t know when it will resume, let alone its release date. By the time they reboot development, they probably try to add more features and basically go back to zero in development.
@@Javier64691 That sounds like classic wildcard 😂😂 I'm not a long time ark player, so I'm less entrenched in needing it to not suck, but I'm kind of over wildcard turning ASA into a micro-transaction based poor reboot of a previous game. There are too many new, small, game developers out there putting out games that respond to their audience so well, and look amazing without the garbage optimization, that actually fix bugs when bugs are found, have player test version to catch bugs before rolling them out and breaking stuff..... Wildcard is feeling like they are stuck in an era that no longer exists. which is sad, cuz ark is a really neat game, that can be super fun, and is still quite unique in a lot of what it is. It just needs to be run better :/
I just started playing this game in November and yes I crash about every 4 hours on PC and probably once a day if I’m playing on PS5 but this is definitely the most fun I have had playing a game and it’s the only game I play now. Thanks Teach I watched a lot of your videos and you have taught me so much! I look forward to future videos
At least the game is not a quick cash grab game and I don’t mind the wait time because I’m playing ascended. Yes it needs a lot of updates but I’m still having fun 😅

I don’t know anyone that actually cares about ark anymore. And I played sense the beginning on alpha for Xbox. With hundreds of friends that laugh at it now .
Ark has fallen off and will never recover. Ark needs npc and missions on the map that help tell the story given by an npc. Even simple missions would make the game a bit interesting. Like tame a certain dino. Kill a certain amount. Turn in so many pieces of meat. Then it needs villages that can be raised or protected and shops that you can spend earned money and it all needs to be within the map your playing club ark should have been in the center of every map. Similar to how rust has that zone where you can't be attacked. It also needs the ability to dodge. A simple dodge mechanic would really help the game with foot pvp. The only other thing would either add a climb mechanic without picks or atleast the ability to grab a ledge. Adda couple new bosses that require you to beat it without dinos and you do foot pvp for the boss. The game just needs something to make it pop. Maybe some race tracks to race our rigs on and win money and etc.
The new roadmap is a complete joke. They won't hit any date guaranteed. And they can't manage two games. Atlas anyone.? And what a surprise, Rag got pushed back. All I see is money grabs. This studio is a train wreck.

I want ark 2 for the completion of the story. Outside of that it's going to be a completely different game from what we know ark to be, so right away it's going to be a bunch of people crying because it's not a survival game(which has been known since it was first announced). I'm also ok with Story DLC's like Lost colony, adds to the story without changing the game but I think changing it up would be good too....the "get the artifacts, fight the bosses" is getting old, we need more.
Watched a defender spawn in the sky above the city and fall into the tiny ledge of a sky scraper you can get to… then he fell off. Chased a parasaur through the mesh in aberration. Still can’t find an anky in aberration, anywhere. 😅
please remember they've outsourced their development to another studio. This should open up the possibility of working on Ark 2 at the same time, but they're also looking cash strapped, and spending money on other games like their Cross-something vehicle battle game.
I refuse to upgrade my graphics card AGAIN in order to play Ark on decent settings. I already spent $700+ on a 4070 in 2023. They need to OPTIMIZE THE DAMN GAME, not bank on every player affording a 50 series GPU. The reason people still prefer ASE is because they can run it on potatoes and still enjoy the game. I am getting real sick and tired of these delays man. We were supposed to have Ragnarok in SEPTEMBER 2024. Now we won't see it till April / May / June of 2025. This is bullshit. They need a better parent company so they can afford to hire more people / people who can get the game going at a better pace.

You deffinetly can be one of the best on small tribes without cheating, and that cost u a lot of time and knowledge to beat all the cheaters/exploiters , so there is a way just u need to be good enough to find it
You have to have 6 no lifers and know lots of people for connections otherwise you get wiped playing the conventional way. But living on a quetz or unknown ratholes is the best way to play casually

Love your videos but don't lead people on with ark 2. Crystal isles and lost Island are confirmed for 2027 and I'm almost 100% positive the last map released with be brand new. Don't expect ark 2 until 2029 at earliest. Maybe 2028 but I don't see this team pushing it out that fast.
