Halo CE Halo Beginning Grenade Jump

I was watching some Halo CE Halo speedruns and saw people doing this grenade jump in different ways and I wanted to find a good way to aim every time to hit it.

I can’t succeed in doing it yet, but this definitely has put me on the right track so far because up until now my biggest problem was not getting the grenade to stop bouncing. I keep missing the edge by mere inches

Does anyone know what its called when you crouch jump, hold crouch causing you to hover midair? I can't find it anyway on Google.

This is a blatant lie, all it does is slide me right back down. It's not a grenade jump at all.

You're obviously doing it wrong, you might want to learn the actual grenade jump speedrunners use instead of my lineup

@@mrsparklepants5636 Maybe if they told me exactly what to press instead of expecting people to go by the visuals of the game alone. It took me over an hour to get this ONCE. The despawn doesn't even work. And I can't do it again.

@@JustSomeKittenwithaGun It took a an hour or two to get the jump consistently when I was learning it. The despawn should work on the ground enemies no matter how fast you do it, but for the most part you have to get it first try to prevent the banshees from spawning.

@@mrsparklepants5636 I made sure it was first try by reverting checkpoint and it did nothing for any of the enemies
