I think you should keep the blue in the soap, but not make it the dominant color. I think the gold would be really interesting as the biggest color instead!

I would change the frosting, I think. I know you just used the round tip for clouds in the last release but gray clouds of "steam" with the gears and gems in them would be really neat!!
the blue makes it feel like one cohesive piece. But if you want to change it either change it to a silver color (steel), dragonscale color (not sure what that is supposed to be) or more of a pale peach (to represent the magical flower)
Bronze or gunmetal would be nice base colours for steampunk!
Oooo! The top soap frosting should be colored with 24k gold mica and stripes of silver mica in the piping bag. Then use a circle tip and add all the trinkets! It’d look like all the embeds were sitting on top of a huge pile of silver and gold! 😁

I think either the base blue or the frosting blue should be a lighter shade. I LOVE the color scheme! Also, it is so encouraging to see other soap makers mess up and still calmly work through the obstacles and have thier soaps turn out amazing! Tobacco and Bay Leaf is one of my best sellers in my candle line! Can't wait to try it in soap! Thank you so much! Look forward to your videos every week!
I'd actually love to learn more about the history of the Scarborough fair as I'm from the UK and live an hour away from Scarborough but only really know that they have really good fish and chips and, while we have "fairs" all over Yorkshire, they're nothing like this! I'll look into it elsewhere but it's really funny to me how this pretty mundane place has gone overseas and become a fantastical realm that I'd honestly love to visit myself!
I really dig the blue being in both the bar and the frosting. It's neat to see it match like that. Also it's wonderful to see you have so much fun with this theme!

Agreed! If the colors were more even in amount, they would really pop off of each other.
I think keep the blue in the base but mayb change the ratios and do a larger amount of the purple, red, or gold and make the blue a smaller accent so it pulls from the frosting but the soap isn't overpowered with blue.
I like it when you can see the frosting blobs a little. Those little ridges are cool. But all your designs are great!
Maybe change the blue to a green instead? To match the emerald on top? And keep the beautiful blue frosting.
I think if it was a gold base with the blue as an accent color on the inside would be SO pretty!
If you keep it the same I would do a small pour on the top of silver or copper so that it peeks out of the frosting on the top and it breaks the colour. Or a brown for his door, that keeps the secrets inside his shop. :)

I like the way the blue top and the blue of the body look so connected, like the last part of a sunset where the sky isn't QUITE completely dark yet.
OMG!! The first viking's image shown in the video is from a town near my hometown!!! It's from Catoira, in Galicia, NW of Spain. Yearly, in August 1st they celebrate "Catoira's Viking landing" in which the Viking invasions, that took place in the area more than 1000 years ago, are staged by the locals. After the fighting between vikings and locals, festivities continue with a popular lunch and an open-air dance. It's awesome!. Thanks Katie, for all your amazing work! I love your videos!
Either white or a medium grey switched out for one of the blues. Grey for the smoke the dragon causes after setting things ablaze.

I kinda like that the blue top matches the inside! Makes it look very cohesive? But I can see why people might want more contrast too. Maybe reduce the amount of blue in the soap itself, but keep it matching with the top

I have been SO into Steampunk for close to 13 years noiw, and I love this! I think you should keep the blue on the inside, and then do a gold soap frosting on top! That would be so pretty, and you could drizzle more silver on. As long as you keep the embeds copper, it'll definitely come out GORGEOUS! I super love these, great to see you pulled it off even though it was a rough start!

after finishing the video, here's my suggestion: instead of dripping gold and silver on the blue frosting, make it a 3-toned frosting with blue, gold, and silver. that'll make it look better for the cut.

Can definitely go lighter on the blue for the bar, but I think some blue is important to tie the frosting in with everything. I’d try swapping the proportions of the blue with the gold or red-bring more warmer tones in to contrast with the frosting and make the bar pop, and also compliment the imbeds.

Also - I love the blue but it is a little much. I agree that the top is perfect, but maybe something else in the middle to break up all that blue!
You could change the blue to black on the inside of the soap. I imagine a tinkerer would run into the occasional explosion, and there would be soot and ashes and black powder around the shop. Also, the accent colours would pop more, and it would be nice and distinct from the top.
This is one of my favorite scents. I will definitely be buying this soap! It's adorable! I think gold should be a more dominant color in the bar. The frosting color is gorgeous.

It’s beautiful! I’m not a big fan of red but that one is 🤩! I think you should definitely keep the blue in the main part for continuity, and it just needs a bit of white to make it pop. But it truly is stunning as is!

I think a white/silver Micah line between the frosting and the soap could break it up a bit more, or just adding some white/silver to it, but leaving the blue.
ahhhh! my magpie brain loves this! and the character. I make things for imaginary people for my Etsy shop! Opinion: keep the blue inside, make it an artisan flat top soap? and all the trinkets like a puzzle on top, end to end.

Oh I love the look of this soap! I was (not so) secretly hoping that you would use bramble berry’s dark crystal fragrance oil in this! I got your space crystal soap a couple years ago & I’ve been keeping my eyes peeled. I loved it! Also I do think the matchy blue is a tad too blue but maybe a different shade is all ya need to switch it up a bit 🥰
