    Thanks for the great exercises! I help my Dad with them. What advice do you have to help him open his affected fingers more; they are stiff and can't yet open to hold a ball or object.

      @rashmisawardekar, I'm sorry to hear about your stroke in 2003. I'm you are doing okay and able to do most things! I actually recommend checking out Dr. Tara Tobias' channel. She a neurological physical therapist who has a lot of videos on walking after stroke! ruclips.net/channel/UCVLi3JmSusOe45zJxZw0E9w

    Hi is numbness more in winter. I am feeling it so much more this winter and it's going to get colder this week. Should I be worried.

    • @PostStrokeOrg
      @PostStrokeOrg  2 года назад +1

      @rochellejohnson, numbness and sensory changes are more common in cold weather. Make sure you're dressing warmly and exercising to improve circulation. If it persists, reach out to your doctor!

    Very helpful. I can't feel my fingers they kind of get tight swell up as I keep doing this excercise. My wrist keeps collapsing towards my body ie right side but does not go left unless I purpose it. I wonder if you have anything to stop swelling whilst exercising?

    • @PostStrokeOrg
      @PostStrokeOrg  2 года назад

      @ranjanapavamani, Thank you for the kind words. I'd recommend talking to your doctor about an edema glove or swelling glove. This can hep keep hand swelling under control, but not everyone should use one, which is why it's important to get the okay from your doctor!
