I started a reading journal for the first time for 2022. I'm only recording title, author, and pages in the book. I write a little summary, then I write words I'm not too familiar with. I love vocabulary too.
The travelers size notebook is working so well for you! I just started mine in a slightly larger book and now I am wishing I did the smaller size! But also, I am in love with your sweater WOW.
Thanks!! Yes, I’m loving the travelers size!… I’ve been thinking about sizing up for the next one just because I’m lovingggg printing out fan art and want to have more room for that. And thanks so much for the sweater compliment!! 💕 I thinkkkk I got it from Shein with fingers crossed 🤔😅
I love that you chose a different size and style than ones I'm used to seeing. I bought a watercolor journal today to use for mine for '23. I'm excited about it.
I really love your reading journal! Your spreads are really pretty I like the way you lay them out and your handwriting and lettering is so nice. I love this casual approach it’s very similar to what I do with mine too and I also use the archer and olive travelers notebook and am starting my second year in the second half of it. I got some great ideas for my month set ups thank you!
I love this! Im starting my reading journal in 2023. I wanted to ask how did you get the covers of the books that small and printed? thank you so much for sharing!
Oh how exciting! I'm about to set up a new reading journal myself :) - to answer your question, I just grab the cover images from Google and resize them to 1" x 1.5"; print them on sticker paper (or regular paper) and then pop them in. I personally use Adobe InDesign to do this (I'm a graphic designer by trade), but I'm sure there's a bunch of other free apps you can use to resize. Oo! I think Adobe has a free image resizer... *checks* www.adobe.com/express/feature/image/resize (never used this but sounds like it may do the job!)
Im in lpve with your reading journal. Youre so creative and talented! I could write as much as you about the books but I read a lot, and many books at the same time so theres no olace to write about them. I think Im gonna make a video about it too.

That's awesome! :)
I started a reading journal this month. It’s really cool seeing what aesthetic each reader wants to take with their journal
Oh, isn’t it fabulous?! I’m right there with you and love seeing all the variety in a reading journal. Excited that you’ve started one as well :)
Love the pocket size, and the balance between decoration and simplicity
Thank you!! I really missing this reading journal! :))
Awesome journal!! I am also a casual reader. It is not my main hobby but still something that I love to do from time to time.
Thank you! I am going to be gearing up for another reading flip through soon and man.. it’s slowed down even more but I still enjoy it all the same.
Love this set up! I'm contemplating creating a reading journal, so this helps!
Thank you!! Good luck on possibly doing a reading journal yourself. Definitely reach out if you her stuck :)
