I had an opportunity to visit Iran for my Visa change from UAE. I was quite impressed with interacting with the people there. Quite knowledgeable on Worldly issues. Yes I now remember it was Kisht island ( hope I got the spelling ) correct.

Similar kind of Brinjal/Eggplant Fry and Sliced Potato Fry is very common in Bengali Cuisine too, which is also eaten with Rice. Just one element from Bengali Cuisine was missing there and i.e. Daal.
