Kevin, you have experienced Yosemite in all it's beauty- and composed a majestic scene, capturing the natural splendor of Yosemite Valley. Watching you lay in the masses and shadows, shapes, contours of the mountain bringing it to life- is just breathtaking. A wonderful learning experience with great commentary. The trees so beautifully shaped with your brushstrokes, rendering a natural, realistic look with the water and dappled light. Great palette! When it was completed I looked at your work for sometime imagining that I am standing there, looking over at the tall cliff. I can smell the pines,and almost feel the wind in my face. Eventually I drifted back to reality, this is what is so pleasurable about the experience of your work of art, it allows you to forget where you are and be transported to another place. Thank you for creating this beautiful piece, as it will be a time, a place captured forever.
Oh my Kevin ! Showing the original breathtaking scene was amazing but the finished work sure more than does it justice.I was hoping you wouldn't keep us waiting too long to see what had been inspiring you in Yosemite but to see both beginning and end - just magical.
You are amazing. I spend 90℅ of my time watching you painting. I whish you were close then I would dedicate 100% of my time to you. I can't draw, not even a straight line but enjoying all your paintings. What is nice is that you speak to us and telling us what you are doing and which colors you mix to do which part and also telling us what you going to do next. I am learning so much and watching you from scratch doing a painting always ends up with a WOW !!!!!! Whish I could paint like you. It is a petty that I don't have a daughter, you would be the perfect son in law. Can you imagine if I had a daughter and you married her, then your mother in law would've spend all her time with you watching you painting. You really are awesome.
Awesome as always. Around the 6:00 mark, you show how to make a mistake and how to remove it. *That* was really cool. A great way to boost the confidence of anyone trying to paint: you're allowed to make mistakes! And sometimes, mistakes will result in an even better looking tree or rock or splash of water-as Bob Ross used to say, Happy Little Accidents. But I don't recall BR ever showing how to actually fix a mistake that you don't want! Nice work.

This is truly amazing! I'm currently try to experience how to use akrill paint, since so far I had only used aquarell. Can these techniques with oil paint be applied on akrill paintings too?

An awesome painting of Yosemite, but, the steps of your instruction jump ahead too far and too often. A beginner would have some trouble following how to achieve the same results as you do.
