Yes, be happy with what you can do! If the adventure is good, the polished video is secondary, it’s nice but not necessary. You are just being yourself in your videos and combining that with your passion for getting outside is obvious and that is a huge reason why I watch.

We drive up from Portland, but we're moving to Puget Sound in 1.5 to 2 years. So happy you're getting into sprinting and exercise in general. Health first, then your very informative videos... excellent priorities!

I should do these instead of taking 6 months off with out a word. 😂 I really feel you with the popular video thing. My most popular is a goldfish video that took no money to make was close to home and was less than an hour to make. Most popular video last year was casting crab traps (didn't know people who watch my channel would like it). I admire your integrity for not monetizing the videos. You'd probably make a couple grand a year but your channel is then a business and you can write off all your fishing expenses. Up to $25000 can be written off IIRC per year for 7 years before you need to be profitable. You can write off $0.65 per mile driven which can really add up. Last year I made $600 but had $15500 in expenses so it brought my family income down by $15000. Good thing is the tax return, bad thing is your wife finds out how much you're spending on fishing 😂 Anyways, hope you have a great year and good luck with the carp fishing. Maybe we can get out for some. 👍
Blake, like to see some more clam digs, not razor clams everybody do those. All the other clams would be nice and where you find them too. Crawfish would be nice to, catch and cook. More fresh water fishing for pan fish catch and cook here too. Tight line buddy

My goals in 2024 are to head down to the Bonneville to do some shad fishing; catfishing in the Snake River and hopefully surf/jetty/crab Westport in the summer (hopefully bump into you down there). If you are ever planning a trip up here, we have a small group of seven who fish with Rosin and follow his discord. This group and friendships have been the highlight of 2023 and so grateful for this group. Blessings in 2024!
