Nice!! Great camera angle, it shows your pick angle. Eds pick angle is a huge part of his tone from riff to riff. Angle the pick and notes have a softer-thicker sound, when he plucks with it "flat" to the string it has more attack-bite and the notes jump out of the mix. That matte black wolfgang, black hardware, cream binding and zebra PUs looks killer. Great playing... domo aregato friend!!

サウンドの質感は変わってないんだけど、1stの時はハーモニクス成分が強めでよりソリッドな音作りなのがわかります。これで5150
辺りから空間系のエフェクトも強めになってきますよね。ステレオな意見だけどやはり、個人的には1984時のサウンドが好きです。

Around 5:25 spot is the best angle for learning how to do that fluttering harmonic trick Eddie does.He might not have invented tapping but he probably invented that trick!

5:25 nice harmonics! The work done on the black guitar sounds a lot better (less processed) than the 5150 (EVH) model.

This is the ONLY video that he has done that I think isn't spot on. May be cause it's harder to play than what people think. And sound exactly like Eddie. I know most people that play eruption, they're whole premise is to duplicate the solo and play it as close to the original version as humanly possible. He still plays it well but for some reason I'm not liking either his tone or maybe it's the guitars. I dunno....listen to cesar huesca play eruption. Pretty close.
I totally agree. I've spent much time covering EVH, Slash, Clapton, Hendrix, etc tunes, and I always find that I prefer adding a bit of my own flavor to it because I don't play exactly like any of those guys, and trying to copy their exact style usually sounds like, well, a bad copy. Satsuma does do EVH really god damn good though.
People come close but still can't play like Eddie. And people still dig guitar solos. They are no walk in the park. Rap can't top it in talent.
I could'nt agree more. I wonder if his tone is off due to the Kemper profile or that it is a profile and not a valve amp? He does play EVH well, but the tone was just not there. Cesar blew me away with his rendition of the "Live without a net" solo, amazing tone and his skills nailed it.
I dont want to seem to be ragging on this guy though, he is a great player, but ive heard him sound better in past videos of his.
@@merritzinn3731 you're right about rap music and talent. A very popular songwriter and rapper once said" I was in the studio with Dr.Dre and some other West coast rappers and they were trying to figure out what keys to play in and none of them knew a C or a D. So there was this guitar sitting there and none of them could figure out how to play any chord on the guitar. They couldn't even find an E on the keyboard" rock music is where it's at as far as talent goes.
I read somewhere that Extreme's Nuno Bettencourt, a great guitarist in his own right, played with Eddie's actual rig; Amp, guitar, everything. He said he was disappointed and astonished to learn that, even playing with Eddie's gear, he sounded nothing like Eddie. It was then he truly learned that tone is all in the fingers.
That's why I think, after enough tone chasing and desire to emulate your hero, you DO end up sounding like them and playing with similar phrasing, maybe even 70-80%, because you end up watching and hearing enough to fret and pick notes similarly enough. Still, you'll never play 100% like them.
こちらの方の"エディチューニング"を研究すれば、更に近いサウンドが出来るかもしれませんよ✊
