Every officer should go through the test every year they are employed. If they fail, then they have to go through training to try to pass it 3 months later. So many officers are out of shape.
I know that I am many years late but, However although I truly do agree with you that there are many officers that are out of shape over the years that’s never gonna happen. Because those officers that are out of shape are basically officers that are either well light or have seniority like once you’re on a force for like five years not even that basically three years you’re basically glued in
I was having lunch one day with a friend who graduated cleet and he was telling me there was a lady who had FAILED FIREARMS TRAINING two times back to back already. After her 3rd failed attempt, they just went ahead and passed her. No wonder why the comments are turned off on most of cleets youtube videos.
The prison I worked at alot could not pass firearms and had years on the job. How did they stay on the job and pass ? Senior staff went up with a pencil and poked fake bullet holes in the targets. I'm not shitting you, they did just that.
Seems odd how a newbie has to do this to get hired but, veteran cops don't to retain their jobs. I forgot, once on the job most get so bloated and over weight that they couldn't make it a hundred yards with needing an ambulance. Used to be in this field, most could not chase a teenager down if their life depended on it.
This is on Portland, and there are no gates but I see street signs so that means the public May access this course at any time. Is the citizen that may be interested in applying encouraged to practice in order to prepare so long as they do not damage anything or try to enter any locked property?
It looks they intentionally minimized their standards for PAT , educational requirements , tattoo requirements , etc . So that most of females and in poor shape people could pass it . Anyone with minimal efforts could pass this .
What’s your point? Should smaller or not as in shape as other individuals be barred from enforcing the laws? Should they not be allowed to serve and protect their communities if they so desire? I REALLY hope you never become a cop, people with your attitude are the reason this country is becoming a melted rocket pop in the sun.

I have always thought the same thing, if your going to protect the community you should be in good shape

This does look challenging, but I like the duration of the course overall. Great presentation!!

Are you surprised?.... If they actually made it challenging then there wouldn't be any police officers

Source: friend said so... 🤡
This looks way easy, my problem would be the classroom stuff.

This obstacle course looks fun!
And incredibly easy
Why they do that innocent dummy like that lmao
Is this the same test in every CLEET in Oklahoma or just in OKC?
You have to run the entire time? Non stop? I’d be so out of breath Omgggg lol
That looks so easy
(400 lb redditor says)
The officer misstepped at 2:27 on the landing 😂😂😂
Looks tough 😏
The first guy they showed seemed really sluggish.
High speed
This may be a silly question but, is the dummy used as a form of a suspect or no?
Not necessarily a suspect but a subject.

Then they let them get fat.

Hell, I could get a load of kids off a short bus and they would pass it.
