Thanks for the unboxing and sharing your source of purchase!! Ordered both after watching this and the seller shipped both into one package and refunded part of shipping cost - just like you mentioned!! Now I wait lol....Thanks for sharing!
I'm waiting to get this two, on a dealer I just find near home (Barcelona). I wil be a blind buy, but I think it will be nice. Thank you Steven for your work!
Great Video! Myrrhae is another great one from that company. Smooth incense and of course myrrh. Unfortunately performance-wise not ubergreat either but still a great deal. Overall they have quite a few interesting scents you would rather expect from pricey niche houses.
Xanovia Scents I'll take a stab at this one... I sampled Meharees on two occasions and it lasted a solid 9-10 hours on my skin and projected slightly above average. It's performance isn't quite on-par with Musc Ravageur (12-hours and heavy projection on my skin) but I was not the least bit disappointed with performance considering the price. In the end I did not purchase a bottle of Meharees because it wasn't quite my style (same for Musc Ravageur) but I may pickup a bottle because I feel left out. LOL I have two bottles of Dolcelisir, along with Ambre Narguile. Both last 8-10 hours on my skin and project slightly above average. Performance on my skin was very similar...may give a slight edge to AN, but it's almost negligible. Also, I have a fragrance friendly skin so your mileage may vary. I have not tried Parfums de Marly Oajan but, to me, the best AN clone is a fragrance called Ibdaa by Mishal Muzaffar Itarji. Unfortunately, it was about $105 for a 75ml bottle, not easy to find outside of the Middle East, and about $150 after shipping...which is too expensive. Dolcelisir is a GEM!!! and one of the few blind-buy recommendations I make for those wanting Ambre Narguile but don't wish to shell-out $250 for a bottle. I hope this helps and I'm eager to hear Steven's experiences.
Great stuff mate. In my mind I thought I was one of the first to discover that LM was so similar to MR Lol. I was actually on a mission to find a MR clone . I was in a small town in Italy and my cousin told me to check out the L'erbolario store where he shops. I made the socking discovery there. It was 2011. Sure it has no clove and a little more soapy, doesn't last as long but it's so great for the price. Dolcelistir is not as apple pie like as AN but really good. Ciao
Just got my hands on both of these. Agree with the video 100%. Meharees is slightly different than MR in the opening, but the dry down is almost identical. As for Dolcelisir, wow, there really is practically no difference between it and AN. I'm not that big a fan of MR, and so I opted for the cheaper version, Meharees. I love AN though, and was close to buying it, but after getting the EXACT same thing in Dolcelisir, its real hard convincing myself to shell out $250 for AN. Definitely recommend both of these products for fans of MR and AN. Also, I have 2 bottles of Dolcelisir and plan on going to Italy in a few months, so in the spirit of Christmas, if anyone wants a bottle and doesn't want to spend money on shipping, PM me. Preferably in the NYC area :)
Hi, Which one of these two u like better? I already got Potion by Dsquared so I want something that is not as cinnamon dominant between these two. Thanks.
Nice review!. I bought these almost 2 years ago and frankly speaking they are good. They do smell somewhat same but very poor longevity . Thnx man. P.S. What do u teach man??
Dolcelisir is one of the first bottles I acquired when I first started this hobby. I used it first before I sniffed Herme's AN. Let me tell you they are SO CLOSE. I really can't convince myself to drop my money on AN while I paid only a fraction of its price tag to get Dolcelisir.
I picked up off a blind buy Meharees solely based off a couple other reviewers comments. At the time I had not even smelled Musc Ravageur. To this day Meharees is still the fragrance which got me more compliments in a workday wearing than any other fragrance.
@@TAIL313 I get about 2-3 of moderate projection and sillage. After that a skin scent after about 6 but i still picked up occasional wafts every now and again about 8 hours in , but it might be that I put on my shirt fairly soon after spraying and some might have been in the clothing.
Heck, even I could have told you that Dolcelisir smells extremely similar to Ambre Narguile and Meharees was a reasonable interpretation of Musc Ravageur. Although I have never tried Parfums de Marly Oajan, an ever better Ambre Narguile clone is a fragrance by Mishal Muzaffar Itarji called Ibdaa. Unfortunately, it's more than twice as expensive as Dolcelisir and not easy to find outside of the Middle East. There is an excellent review of this fragrance over here: ruclips.net/video/cLwf1siZYRM/видео.html Also, I suspect that Tauerville Vanilla Flash is a dead ringer for Royal Apothic Dogwood Blossom...just haven't had time to do a side-by-side, yet. Anyway, I enjoyed the unboxing/first impressions video...even if only to confirm what some of us have already known.

I've been meaning to get my nose on both of these... How would you rate the performance of these two???

RyzFragz34 Thank you, Ryan!
Fantastic review, thank you for this information. I plan on blind buying Dolcelisir.
***** Thank you for the kind words, Lian! I'm sure you will love it!

I would definitely go with Meharees then!
Redolessence thank you. :)
One more question, what r the seasons and occasions for these 2? Thanks.

sydgia01 I understand. The performance isn't great, unfortunately. I teach 10th grade English. Thank you for watching!
I love L'Erbolario, in Italy it's very popular

So how was the longevity, silage and projection of Dolcelisir?
+alexanderkenniethbam Upon further testing, each one have me about four hours. It truly wasn't great.

What's the longevity like please? I'm also thinking of getting it for work

@@MP-ej9pw thanks for the reply. I've ordered a bottle. Can't wait to test it out.
@@TAIL313 is it good
Great vid Steve, i love AN soooooo .... :)
theLupeXperience Thank you, Lupe! AN is one of my favorites for the fall. Thank you for watching!
I love Meharees but unfortunately I love Musc Ravageur just a little more.
David Miller I know what you mean. Thank you for watching!
I agree that the Docelisir is closer clone of AN than Mehares is to MR
I had both, they are both great fragrances :) XOXO
Thanks Steven!
Aahhah another frag addiction...just from this year its about 500$ already spent on fragrances 😱😨
luissxmas I hear you! It's so hard to not buy. Thank you for watching!

Greetings - I own and enjoy meharees, but no I must buy the other one. My wallet hates you, Steven.
