I went on site where Dolcelisir is sold but unfortunately they're out of stock! I gave them my email address in case they get it back in. I enjoy your videos and the way you describe the fragrances has really gotten me interested in checking this fragrance out.
I own a bottle of Dolcelisir and recently purchased Immortelle by l'occitane, which reminds me a lot of Dolcelisir. Immortelle is also marketed as a female frag but can easily be worn by men. This EDP performs really well and last a very long time on my skin(longer than Dolcelisir). Do check it out.

The smell reminded me NOT of cinnabons, but of the smell of the gooey icing on cinnabons! That being said, how does Dolcelisir compare to New Haarlem in our opinion? And given that I thought New Haarlem was too sweet, do you think I would like Dolcelisir?
Hey Coach! I tried it today at the L'erbolario boutique in Venice... it is fantastic!! To me smells more like pure malt and a little bit of tobacco vanille... great fragrance!! I don't know where you get your information from, but here in Italy the fragrance is sold as a unisex fragrance, is not marketed as feminine, in fact the girl that works in the boutique told me that even being marketed as a unisex fragrance, only men are buying it, since girls find it too boozy and strong...only 25 Eur.
I did a 1 to 1 mixture of L'Erbolario Meharees and Pure Havane and it's absolutely fantastic. Retains all of the top notes (cherry) of Pure Havane, but amplifies the heart and base to make it into the dry down of MR. You can do this with a lot of L'Erbolario's fragrances because the concentration of their EdP's mix very well with almost any EdT.
Yea it's crazy man, there's A LOT of quality out there for reasonable prices. The problem is we just have to look/find them. That's part of the fun for me though. I need to look into that 900.

I'm saying people act like Niche fragrances aren't overpriced. Yet when you see their "niche" collection it's full of decants. If you feel it's not overpriced than purchase a whole bottle, that's what I'm saying. Also if you're such a niche supporter, SUPPORT the house and don't "bootleg" their fragrances. Now me personally I have no problem with decanters, I love a deal. I'm just talking about snobs that look down on others, or call people cheap when they don't even buy high priced frags.
Hey man great review, La Vie Est Belle by Lancome female frag, smells a lot like DHI. I wear D&G light blue for women smells like Versace Eau Fraiche with a bright lemon on top. This sounds better than Pure Malt. You need someone to help get it to you I will gladly, won't even send FedEx lol.

A lot of the stuff your speaking on is true with the niche kind of fragrances and I feel the same way. Heck there is even some designers I wouldn't spend retail price for...not that they aren't great, but I just feel that their not the best value for my dollar. It's funny that you mentioned that Dolcelisir is $55 retail and high quality. I bought 900 by Aramis in Macy's in the city (NYC) for the same price + tax and not only did I get a great but they thew in a nice sophisticated umrella.
Double Vanille is listed as a female fragrance but I have no problem with it, knowing the majority of the community and even myself sees it as being 100% unisex. Its really neutral, being primarily vanilla and with that little bit of booziness it makes it perfect for a man as well.
My order arrived today (ordered on 2/16) and unfortunately, roughly 1/4 -1/3 of the contents had leaked out all over the place. The samples they included were even stuck to the fragrance box due to the leakage. I sent them an email and we'll see what happens. Since they are out of stock, I'm probably SOL.

Ok, so I finally received it and I have to say your review was definitely precise. It's trés trés gourmand and resembles the Hérmes perfume but I started getting nauseous because of the rum note. I couldn't stand it luckily I was feeling better after 30 minutes and throughout the drydown. I must admit it is a beautiful scent but unfortunately I couldn't handle it LOl ;)
What three scents did you liken this to in it's "scent life"? I believe you stated Pure Malt and Hermes' Ambre Narguile ... Thank you for your forthcoming response 😊
