I hope female basketball players start going to SC with Coach Staley a true legend and beat up on Geno and UConn in the future. Girls get together and beat that machine in Connecticut.
Being defensive-minded, I had only hoped Coach Dawn Staley would have developed a defensive plan, i.e. laser focus upon all three three point shooter; on and off press, etc South Carolina players looked tensed, lacking focus...gave the shootesr too much space. When Peyton Manning played Seattle Seahaws, Peter Caroll developed a defensive scheme; when Tommy Hears fought Sugar-Ray Leonard, Leonard's team had a defensive scheme, coach Bell Belchick always had a defensive scheme...Sorry, guys coach Dawn Staley, did not prepared her team very welll, barring injuries.

UConn beat SC handily not once but twice this year. If they ever "beat up" on UConn, it will be long after Geno retires.

I agree they weren't at their best, for whatever reasons. You would expect more from a team that were the defending National Champs.
