- Super sorry for being off the ball with uploads recently, I've been 10/10 stressed /anxious about life lately so it's taken a while to do stuff! Anywhoo, I recorded a couple of Elton John tunes this week, and finally filmed the Q+A (thanks for all the questions, I can't begin to say how great it was to get so many, it's super super appreciated!!! 😄❤️) so I'm gonna edit that and upload it soon I SWEAR!
In the mean time, here's some Elton John! I hope you like it! I'm also low key dedicating this to my dear friend Clár (like in a gay best friend kinda way 💁) who's birthday we're celebrating literally right now in her living room, so I'mma gonna dash and stop being anti-social!

Hey Henry, I enjoyed your rendition of this Elton John's classic. I would like to ask: what are your tips for singing and simultaneously accompanying myself on the piano but expanding the accompaniment beyond rhythmic chords? I mean, what you're showing in the video for example. Elton does it perfectly and he improvises a lot, too, of course. I just can't get around my head playing some passages or piano rolls while singing, I immediately screw everything up. Any piece of advice would be much appreciated, thanks!
