She definitely fast. I am a one man show. A 6 to 8 second machine plenty for me. Definitely if have help it save tons of time. I find auto cycle working alone the biggest time saver. Keep up the good work. stay warm.

Nice how the 4 way can go just under flush to allow for clean splits. No way you can keep up stacking off the 6 way. You’d need the Flash! Definitely won’t have to run this beast at much over half throttle unless you’re in a splitting competition.

Russ, it's going to be a great machine for the yard. You could run that beast half throttle, saving fuel and still outperform the competition. How does K-Train like it so far?
I think I made up my mind. I looked at Wolfridge, Eastonmade and Allwood. I looked into the 8k range and for the money the Allwood Birch is built better and it is faster (just better all around). Just need 1 of 2 things to happen, Financing or sell my Harley, I have the cash but don't want to dip into it right now. So get that financing going

That is an interesting aspect of a faster splitter. You can slow down the engine and actually reduce fuel consumption. . I made mine faster, and found if i back it off 1,200 rpms im still faster than i used to be and plenty fast for a one man operation. 800 rpms is basically what it was before at 3.6k-rpm
I think your manufacturer might be open to a lawsuit the first time somebody loses a couple fingers or a hand. I can see that kind of splitter speed in a processor where your not putting your fingers and hands so close to danger, as I just watched Eastonmade latest processor have about the same speed as your Allwood it would not pose the same risks. Really, what’s more important, shaving two seconds off your splitting cycle, or safety? No brainer.
Some fast. I watched those videos you were with hard working man. Put Rachel with that machine and look out. Timed 5 splits. 10.46 seconds. Some fast. I’ll time buster some time, just to see.

Splitter operating is a one person job. One mindset one person with his hands on the wood. Please be extra careful. I am speaking from experience when a good friend of mine wanted to help and lost a finger. Please be extra extra careful
The Speed is great. Clearly a waste of money and efforts though. No two or three humans can run a splitter faster than 3 seconds for even an hour effectively to out pace the same guys running a 4 or 5 second splitter. Just a D... measuring contest at this point.

Yes but even then, if there were room to move around it could likely keep 4-5 busy. I smoke through wood with my setup and my wife, 2 kids and I am kept busy and our machine doesn't move like that.

I still don't see how you are getting dry wood ready to burn coming out of rounds? Takes years to dry that Way 😮
