Let's plow snow while we wait for a warmer day to do #firewood. Tomorrow will be much warmer. Questions and inquires can be sent to Woodguywilley@gmail.com
Russ, you really need to get that $15,000 splitter under cover. A cheap metal car port or something. Makes life easier and keeps equipment lasting much longer. .
We did plowing also had 27 lots we plowed and salted and hauled the snow away had a sand and gravel company so had the equipment to handle it all bad ones was the federal building and federal courthouse had to dig a car out of a 25 foot drift was next to building so had to be careful sold business so no more of that stuff don't miss it just the money have a good one Russ before helping my friend at tree company i am a retired million miles driver but get on here and enjoy watching what everyone does thanks for posting my friend be waiting for the video when you can post it without freezing yourself and Kevin
@@KevinHarvey-qw5mj tomorrow will be warmer and we will be back at it for sure. I don't miss commercial snow removal. I do only residential as I only have to rely on myself showing up.
@WilleysFirewood it all adds up Russ and people depends on you but be looking for the video tomorrow hopefully you can work but if to cold stay inside thanks Russ my friend
Russ, great Video as always. Nice Plowing. Hopefully Tomorrow I will be Able to get out and Cut some Rounds up. No way could I have done it this Week. Tomorrow Freezing Rain, Sleet and Snow. About 6inches we are supposed to get. Then Cold and Windy Saturday, more Snow Sunday, Warm up on Monday, more Snow Tuesday, big warm up Wednesday and then another Blast Coming in. I just Ordered more Logs about 1/2 Load. Be here in about 3weeks. I hope to do some Cutting tomorrow as my Firewood is Getting Slim. With a Few 28inch Locust Logs won't take long to get Some. I figure if I get like 10halves of them in at 9 1/2 long, I get like 4 pieces to Burn out of each Piece. Right Now on a Pallet I have 8Rounds that need to be Trimmed and Brought in. I want to replace that though with at Least 10more. I do the Neighbors Driveway for them. I just Salted both of them as to be ready when the Storm Hits. Stay Safe out there, and by all means Careful, and Warm. See you at the Next Video. Ron at the Woodyard maybe Tomorrow I Hope.
@@ronbrooks6681 thanks Ron. Snowplowing is tiring work for sure. I take lots of breaks as needed though. Hope you are able to get some rounds cut before the next big cold snap rolls through.
I don't know what the issue is, it was 56 degrees here where I live in Wisconsin today, yeah kinda rubbing it in a little, don't worry it'll get frickin cold again, just a tease from mother nature, last week 40 mile an hour winds with 50 mph gusts, burrrrrrrrrrr low double digits, single digits at night
COLD AF here across the Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia. Froze the knots out of all me firewood my son .😅 🎉 polar bear 🐻❄️ fur needed like my 4.o hoodie! 😅 YEP , yep.
Is that the pit where you operated your Belles Processor years ago? I wonder if the ol lady will let you keep the splitter in the house where it's warm?

This is a nice change from the firewood, I’m sure many of us enjoy this as well being self sufficient, having a side hustle, and helping others
@@nmancini yep you are absolutely right. I enjoy plowing occasionally as well but it looks like it will be a regular thing for the next week or so.
We all have to do things besides firewood sometimes. Snow plowing is part of winter life. Back to firewood tomorrow.
@@shotlifffamilyfirewood thank goodness because I can only take a bit of plowing at a time.
This was cool. Never seen any snow plow POVs!
@@FoothillsFirewood come visit in the winter and we can go plow the town 🤣

Evening Russ. A fella needs to branch out in this crazy expensive world we live in and make money wherever possible.
You are absolutely correct. I am always looking to make a dollar when I can.

Why not put tarps over your equipment in the winter if you leave it outside?🪵🇺🇸
