You guys crack me up! I really enjoy your channel...lots of humor (or "humour") that is much needed (and appreciated) these days here in the States. Yessir, I subbed...yessir, I "liked"...and, like The Terminator, "I'll be back!"
Me also got that that rattling noise problem with the variator rollers in my Vespa S ( "S" means "SICK" not "Sport" ) 150 (2021) Made in India version. Thanks for the video.
Be worth replacing the ramp plate guides on the variator. They also produce rattling noise and if they are completely gone. They destroy the variator. Always do up the variator nut with a torque wrench. If you under do the nut it comes off. If you over tighten it you risk snapping the end of the crank. Also just came across your channel. Liked and subbed👍🇬🇧
I thought you were supposed to put two 10mm bolts in the slots on the clutch and then remove the nut or use the special tool, always interesting to see it done differently 👍
Morning m8 hope your good 👍🏻 I think I need new rollers because I can hear rattling more now than I have recently . It’s coming from the box . I’ve had my bike over a year all good in every aspect . Just rattling when reving 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 hope your good m8 💯😎
Morning Glenn, that could be the problem. Fairly easy repair, but it could be something else too. Anyway, let us know if this helps or if you find something new 😊 have a great day bro 😎
Hiya, thanks for that.. unfortunately I have never recorded the rattling noise, would have made sense to do that before replacing the rollers 😅 in the future I’ll record the faults before solving them 😇
@@VESPAUKofficial just a thought I think that is what’s going on with mine when your body is changing the rollers and he shake them inside round piece before he changed the new ones that’s what it sound like on mine Thanks again I enjoy your videos ride safe and hello from New York City

That rattling noise is so annoying isn’t it 😅
@@VESPAUKofficial Yes really really irritating not just for me but to the pedastrians too. Made me a laughing stock for a while.

Thanks for The advice and also thanks for your sub 🙏
100%! Excellent point. I always replace mine (I.e. guides) when I replace the rollers.
