Honestly, you shouldn’t use too much detergent on anything. It leaves some of the soap in the item (especially fabric), and new dirt holds onto that sticky soap that you can’t even feel. As others have said, the thing you should be testing is the actual sneaker detergent. The bags and even brushes are available elsewhere. I would like to see a long-term test on a couple white sneaks that were worn, cleaned, and worn again. One with their detergent and one with grocery store stuff. Good video as always, but leaves me wondering about the main product still.

The Reshovn8r is a total rip off, I bought a kit that cost about 40 dollars and all they give u is 3 little brushes with different firmness ( one brush meant for the bottom of the shoe and the other two for the uppers , I can find those at the dollar stores) . A SMAll bottle of cleaning solution,. Two flimsy shoe trees , and two Sneaker bags for laundry. all in cute pachanga. Save your money . Buy two brushes , get some oxy clean and tide and make and make your own solution to brush own .
Shoe trees and mesh bags get at target or Walmart . . Don’t waste your $$

The first shoe I cleaned using the laundry system was the kd 7 aunt pearls aswell. Mine were dirty due to playing basketball on black asphalt and when I used the kit, I was really shocked because the shoes honestly looked brand new. And I use regular detergent as well because I’m not wasting $20 on some “sneaker detergent.”

I restore my own sneakers. When I buy a project on eBay I use the laundry system. Its really only made for once in a while wash or as needed. I've washed 10 pairs so far with it and got a little less than half a bottle left. I am pretty happy with it. You gotta catch them on that sale. And for god sakes if you have a washing machine with a spin tower in the middle don't wash your 4s or 3s bye bye back tabs. Trust me. Also I didn't buy the bag, rather I went to the japanese dollar store and the mesh wash bags they sell for 2 bucks works well.

I have reshoevn8r and I think is better to get the kit with the 3 brushes for the suede and flyknit. The bag and detergent you can get some cheaper in Walmart.

Ive actually used this product for the first time and the honest truth is it works 100x better then regular laundry detergent you will not get the same results going the cheaper route
Totally hear what you are saying, but........there is leather oils and preservatives in the reshoevn8r product that isn’t available in off the shelf stuff.
You will probably only see the benefits after multiple washes where off the shelf products may well degrade the shoe, reshoevn8r will have less of a detrimental effect on the quality of the footwear over time
I do the same thing with dish soap a soft bristle brush and old shoe mgk then throw them in the washer in pillow cases with ikea shoe trees never had a problem

I use a pillow case instead of the laundry bag and idk if it works the same but it does a brilliant job on shoes that have been dirty for awhile. Would be cool if u tested this

I use a pillow case for the laundry bag and I still use DAWN detergent to wash my shoes. Understand. DAWN products show you in commercial that DAWN can get oil off of wildlife in the wild... oil! So imagine what it could do to simple sneakers? I’lol buy the product and I might use it once to see the results but if I don’t see a difference then I’ll continue with the same program I started with.
Delicate wash bags are £2 , £1 nail brush , mix vanish oxi clean with persil n your good to go.

I bought a white mesh dirty laundry mesh bag at the dollar store for yes...... $1 put my shoes in it tied a knot at the end, throw them in the washer with some gain and about a tablespoon of OxiClean came out of the washer looking DS. So bye the description you're giving in your video you're making it sound like there's something special about them bags and shoe trees at least that's the impression I'm getting. So whoever's watching this video go spend a dollar get a bag sure you already got detergent at home and go to town don't need to spend no money at the reshoeven8tor. And here's a quick tip go get some dr. Bronner's liquid soap Works twice as better as any of those top-notch so-called sneaker cleaners.
