Saw this from the Advrider thread. I thought I had it bad having gone through an overnight ride with a nearly broken ankle. Then I watched your video and realized mine was a piece of cake. I can't believe you didn't swear as much as I would've. I admit, I did get a little chuckle on your exasperation when you would round a curve only to see more mud. Trust me, as time goes on, the funnier this ride will be for you. Man, you got campfire stories for life just out of this one ride alone. I tip my "helmet" to you and your fellow riders!
My applause! I have gotten in deeper than I have would have liked to many times! I admire your team work and tenacity! I also have learned the hard way to say enough and turn around! Hard to do especially if your in deep! However it has on a couple of occasions saved me from riding out of a tough situation in the dark!
Found your advrider thread from 2016 which led me here. I've taken my dr350 down some trails like that where I was dropping the bike every few minutes and having to kick start a flooded motor. You REALLY feel the weight of the DR on rides like that. Not very fun. The difference is I've never done it fully loaded, and I usually turn around after half an hour and get the fuck out of there. Absolutely awesome ride report and video, well done to you guys for finishing that trail in one night.
For the most part, the video makes it look less extreme than it probably is in real life. But then, you're 5 hours in, after dropping the bike 30+ times. I bet you were absolutely exhausted at the end. Good for you guys for making it through that swamp.

Outstanding video! Talk about perseverance. I thought the Star trail in CO was bad, this is much worse.
Totally awesome 👍🥰
Definitely some tough terrain you had to slog through. Nicely set up DR though :)
Nice job with the video !Looks like some pretty knarley terrain ! We should get together and ride sometime and explore some trails.
Thanks! Looks like you're from the TC, too. So yeah, let's ride. Find me on Facebook.

@11:13 - man, do I know *that* feeling.
I'd never take a bike that has luggage on it like that, id go with a trail bike with nothing on it but plastics
Way to stick it out. What a miserable situation.
