- Technically we started the ride on the Ironman, but we decided to bail out to the Family Poker Run at the hot dog checkpoint to give our newbie rider a shortcut out (this was her 2nd day ever on a dirtbike!). We saw some other pretty crazy characters out there sending it in the desert - vintage mopeds, big adventure bikes, pit bikes, a Honda Grom, a dad riding 3-up with his 2 kids all on the same bike... I need to get a beater bike next year to really prove my worth! Or maybe the Tiger... Great day of riding, but HOLY HELL DUST.

I went in 2022 so my son could run poker run. My new Beta 390rrs was stuck somewhere between here and Italy. Its was dusty but it was a blast!

No, racing isn't my cup of tea, pretty much a recipe for getting myself hurt. Just the Ironman for me!
@@SamChou I was there last weekend and I'm thinking about doing the Ironman next year. I have a 93 DR 350 with the Thumper racing 441 kit in it. Mainly do single track and mountain riding but I think it'll be fun to do just the Ironman. You've inspired me 💪💪💪
Heck yeah! Try something new! I'm more about going flat out than tight and technical terrain, but the DR can do it all. Especially with a big bore kit, I'm sure it'd be a blast.
