Lesson 46. Simulation of Full-Scale 5-Story Building Considering SSI Using PLAXIS 3D

In this Lesson, the simulation of a full-scale 5-story building is demonstrated using PLAXIS 3D, with consideration given to Soil-Structure Interaction (SSI). The modeling process includes step-by-step instructions for excavating, and modeling structural elements such as foundations, basement walls, columns, beams, and slabs, as well as applying loads. The resulting settlement of the building and the forces experienced by each structural element are interpreted through the simulation outputs.
