This was amazing. I loved it. My favorite from the list would be gelert. But I’ve loved the different versions of the Church Grimm. I would love to see the legendary felines across the world.
In South Africa we have a legendary dog spirit, named Jock of the Bushveld. He was believed to be fiercely loyal, faster than any jungle cat & could out hunt, anyone... he was also quite ugly 😄... But he died from an accidental bullet shot while watching his master's flock... now he haunts the old overgrown waggon trail from Lydenberg to Delagoa bay
@@shatom17 a kitsune is a fox with nine, seven, five, 3 or 1 (depending on age) that has magical powers. Legend has it that when a kitsune reaches 1000 years of age, it gains it’s ninth tail and floats up to heaven. :3
Raiju would be in there too, because raiju has many forms. A tiger, A wolf, a weasel and a some unidentified monster which probably is his original form. Edit:I just finished watching the vid.thr monster at 5:35 is the "unidentified monster" I told you about.
I have always liked the story of Argos and your Mythology videos. Also, I would also like to see a video of more obscure superstitions like why iron scissors are hung above a baby's crib. Thank You.
Very cool video. It’s well done and very informative. It’s interesting what brought me here as I am traveling in Croatia and for some reason I’ve been having nightly dreams of mythological black dogs almost every night since I got here. They are not nightmares as the dogs as vicious and deformed as they look. They are surprisingly quite docile, obedient and affectionate …….and I wake up happy and refreshed.
This was amazing, I hadn't heard of several of these dogs or their legends, I love them all! I have a German Shepherd, they're so loyal! Also I have a (dwarf) boa, and she's a sweetheart. All 7 of me snakes are adorable (in my humble opinion)
Wow! I learned alot from this. As far as my favorite goes I've always been partial to Cerberus. He and Orthrus make a pair of badass brothers. However I had never heard of Aralez before so right now he's my favorite mythical canine du jour!
@@tracyipsen743 I'm always learning yeah, mostly about others. I grew up traditional so I have always been very thankful for that. Just glad my life is what it is and have learned and experienced what I have.
I had a dream of a 6 legged puppy. Been trying to research to find out if anything like that has ever appeared in mythology or history. Any help would be great.
I live in Spokane, Washington, and during a windy night, The illumination of a street light on the Wall of my closet, cast the shadow of the side of a gigantic dog's head. It looked like a German shepherd and the snout was really long, like a German shepherd, but I looked behind me, and I didn't see anything but the bush shaking in the wind. I'm kinda curious about what that might've been, because I made sure I was fully awake, which I was, but the Giant head of a dog didn't go away! Eventually I was so scared, I hid under my covers.
Hi Katrina, In your older videos, you would add written names of the subject of each segment. Now, I only see names once in a while. I sure do miss the subject's title/name on the screen so I can read the name as you tell the story. Please return to the practice of showing the titles/names of each subject. LOVE your videos. You have great content of interest to many. Keep up the great work.
I would also like a video of myths or folklore from around the world that seem to coincide in times when those populations shouldn't have been able to speak to each other.
Hmm the bacteria in the saliva must explain why they don't get sick when they lick their booties. Cool video I've heard of Garm and Fenyir in my game World of Warcraft but none of the other dogs. Strangely though in WoW Garm has three heads instead of one. I may choose the white doggie to have.
Hey everyone, if you could own one of these dogs, which one would you pick? I would love to have a dog like Gelert! 🐶
Origins Explained I would get Cerberus
Origins Explained am I one of them

I have two little Araleze. They lick away my emotional wounds and help me sniff out infections.
Could you do one of these for mythical horses?
Mythological cats from around the world would be neat.
Raiju would be in there too, because raiju has many forms. A tiger, A wolf, a weasel and a some unidentified monster which probably is his original form.

Can you do mythical felines next? Also great video!
What an amazing video of the mytical dogs, thank you for sharing this wonderful video with those of us that watch your videos.
The sound is low on this video. I had to turn my phone up all the way to hear it.
Very interesting about Canines Mythology, I like them all, but Laelaps was a very cool Dog! 🐶😊🐶😊🐶😊🐶
I’m a fan of the Raijus. Lightning has always been a fascination of mine, and when I do get a dog he will be named Raiju

Fun fact: black shuck is one of the most popular mythology dogs in Britain
I loved this video. I thought it was really cool😇🥳
I am part Ute and I'm really interested in learning the different native American mythology. Could you do a video or 2 on them? Thanks! 💜💜😊

Hi Katrina! How about a video on loving pets that change personalities and attack their owners ? Mine did, yesterday. 😢
Ppl always Think Black shucks Are dogs they are WOLVES not dogs

Maybe the black shuck sightings are those of rare black wolves or dire wolves who survived extinction what do you think?
I grew up around native Americans crow in montana black foot ute Navajo and I've seen shape shifters and believe it an omen to see a wolf close up
I love it
I would also like a video of myths or folklore from around the world that seem to coincide in times when those populations shouldn't have been able to speak to each other.
I'm surprised that you did not mention the Loup Garou
Well, you’ve now done legendary Canines, but what about Felines? Shouldn’t they get their fair share of screen time too?
Pls Add Raiju
Could you please show us more about mythical horses? I just love Origins Explained
I like Orthrus the Two-Headed Dog.
Hugs, not drugs
Raiju, not kaiju
You should do Kansas urban legends or ghost stories like the one about the theorosa Bridge
Hades will let you ride Cerberus.
Why didn't you include the moddey dhoo
The adlet from Inuit mythology
stories about animal kings
I would you to do a programme about the egyptian mythology
How about mythical creatures on fish
How about were animals from different countries?
In reference to were animals. Some countries have were foxes, were rats. Things like that.

You don't mention the headless dog that that protected buried treasures. This is known in Louisiana creole/ cajun tales.
🐕 puppy's nice
Xoxo a
So cool
Not the kinds of dogs you keep as pets
Axe-handle hound? I'm jealous enough of Europeans without them having better mythology, thank you.
Big fan of the videos do you think you could do a video on aboriginal Australian myths.
Why not make a movie of 10 serpents around the world
If the Oryhros has a snake tail. Then how come the Orthros in My Little Pony had the tail of a German Shepherd.
Wait The Black Chuck is a SCP so im confused
I thought pit bulls were bad. Wow but i still have 2 pits n would not change them for any bread. Catrinaaa love ur video's. Take care
No Beast of Gevaudan?

Fenrir
Where’s gumiho and fenrir
I would like to know of mexican myths
Can you do a video on La Llorona?
Aralez
I have 12 sharp teeth no cap its sharp as hell
Who was a aub scriber before 2020
Where is Cerberus?
He's not on the list because the average person doesn't have enough hands to pet all of the heads.
Hope one day we find out what happened to large dogs seeing as how we have large cats. With no info available I feel it’s been suppressed.
The large dogs became specialized and then fell on changing times unable to adapt fast enough while cats came in and began competing with them.
Hmmmmm. Interesting.
I love the now intow
U have to do a feline one!
Can you do a horse video
