They are all still in high school lol. Guys and girls can be friends, they literally showed how Pope & Kie could never work bc there is no chemistry & they are just friends. John B kissed Kie and again she pushed him away bc they are just friends. With JJ you see Kie go to him for advice w/ her family & shit, or she’ll be there for moments when JJ is really vulnerable/hurt bc of his dad so I wouldn’t be surprised if she kept her feelings to herself bc she sees how broken JJ is. I didn’t realize Kie’s real feelings for JJ until 2x10 when she invited herself to JJ’s surf trip. Just them two.
right they’re so vulnerable with each other when they’re alone and it’s so cute
so why was she kissing pope and asking to hook up? then when she did hook up with him she broke it off and moved onto JJ 😂😂 the story isn’t as magical and meaningful you guys make it out to be

They are still kids thinking in the moment & not about the outcomes in the long run. Pope was only attractive to her when she saw a different side to him in the last 2 eps of S1 (which in my eyes reminded her of JJ’s aggressiveness, js), not only that but she thought Sarah/John B were dead so yeah she wanted a distraction in S2, but once they did it she regretted it & realized they had no chemistry. Point blank, period.

For me, Kie and JJ never felt forced. because I always felt like they're going to be endgame. I love Cleo and Pope as a couple, but they seemed more forced. Apparently they needed someone for Pope so he wouldn't get angry at JJ and Kie. and there are still some boys/girls friendship. and at first i thought it would be kies season too, but it wasn't.
I still think it was Kie's season. She killed it and Madison's acting has gotten way better. Kie went through a lot of personal growth and development this season.

but I don't think it was her season. The main focus was on John b and Big John.

I personally had a lot of fun with this season because I like the different relationship dynamics between everyone and the more emotional moments. The treasure hunting is kind of secondary to me at this point because I care more about the characters. As far the platonic friendships thing, I think that we have seen Kie be proper friends with John B and even Pope. I thought Pope and Kie were forced but I like that they decided to try it and when it didn't work out they went back to the way things were before. I also got Jiara endgame vibes ever since season 1. I think JJ has for sure shown a ton of interest in Kie while Kie has made some sort of offhand moments and glances here and there. The writers could have probably done a better job showing Kie reciprocating those feelings for the audience but 6 weeks with him on an island could have accelerated things, as a writer I try to give the writers grace when it comes to that.
They definitely get to close to each other on that island after all is like 1 month so when people are talking that it was forced don't forget that they definitely get close on that island even from ep1 how Kiara looked on him when they were fishing. It definitely started on that island

Idk about some of you guys, but I agree. The writers did force the Kie and Jj relationship this fast. Like come on, I get you wanna defend this and I’ll admit they look quite together, but I don’t like nor appreciate how it was addressed this immediately. I would feel much better if they just kept this kind of love as best friends. Not lovers. Tbh, Kie and Pope were cool i actually enjoyed them. But it is what it is. The writers of this show must’ve worked with the CW and wrote on shows like the 100, the Vampire Diaries, Riverdale, and several other shows where characters in a friend group just switch each other girlfriends and boyfriends all the time like that’s not an annoying writing thing.
jj and kie have been developing since the start they just didnt make it obvious
@@luvsoph5959 no they haven’t. it’s been shown jj had feelings for Kiara in a very subtle way, but it was never shown to be reciprocated, that’s just seeing things that weren’t there. and I wouldn’t have cared if they had built it up decently from that season onwards, but they started the season with them already having the feelings as if those just sprouted out of nowhere between s2 and 3 and that’s lame writing

Let's gooooooooooo! for me jj and kie is not forced, in season 2 they get very close, in the last episode there is a climate in the container,I see that scene as for the first time Kiara looked at him in a different way, so that's why in season 3 they already start very close, jj already had a crush on her since season 1, and that was always clear, it was the directors' mistake to have forced her with pope, I don't even put john b in the subject because there was a collective outbreak of them, She was never into him and neither was he hers, give them a chance, I always saw chemistry and this season just proved it even more.

This season is 🔥🔥🔥 there’s a few forced situations going on that they could’ve done without. Such as relationships, john bs dads acting at times, kiaras parents are terrible characters not even for the sake of the show but they just make scenes bad when there in them, a lot of scenes seem the same there’s a lot of guns n people getting trapped almost every corner they turn, most importantly topper has to go I’m tired of this ever running obsession between Sara n topper. None of these are major gripes at all just little stuff that annoys me about the season but overall a good 7.6/10 season. I really enjoys popes story line n cleos introduction to his family this season. Sing is absolutely phenomenal. Ward was a major plus in this season absolutely great story line for him. They got a bunch of great stuff going on in season 3 to overlap the bad things.
Since the first season they (kie and jj) showed affection for each other, it wasn't to please the fans, and it didn't happen out of the blue. Those of you who couldn't see this. I saw your reactions to all the episodes, and you ignored every time jj showed he was jealous of kie. It's always been obvious that kie likes "rebels", ever since she called pope boring

@@mrgontakeyobitch15 I didn't feel like it was forced, but you have your opinion and I respect that. I actually liked how they went about with it, especially for JJ. He's always the jokester of the group but having to confront his feelings for Kiara, we got to see him more vulnerable and more growth and not just remain the same person. And Kie too she fought for them cuz it felt right. That's how I felt too, they just fit to me. The way I see it, JJ always had an attraction towards but only recently it turned into something serious, and it all made sense to me. And I like that they got together now cuz slowburns are better. Only thing I would have changed in this whole story is kie & pope that was so so unnecessary.

JJ and Kiara were never gonna be a thing in the show. The producers made them love interests because fans started to ship JJ and Kiara really hard. Since S1. So it's a smart decision to listen to what the audience wants. So that's why it feels forced because all 3 guys liked her, but only 2 were supposed to have/had a relationship with her not 3. So fans basically made JJ and Kiara canon.
