This episode just made me realize I’ve been around since the beginning. Like, since 2016. I can’t even believe how much you guys have grown. This channel is easily my favorite RUclips channel around, and has been ever since I discovered it. I love you guys and your consistent and funny humor. Thank you for all the effort you put into your channel and just know it means a lot to so many people.
This episode made me smile in soo many ways, I didn't even think to check the channel avatar until _after_ the game was over! Also: The Injury Counter probably could have been reset over wounds to pride before that last bit...
So early the HD hasn't kicked in yet. Holy hecc, how did you manage to reset the injury counter? Like, that's genuinely impressive at this point. Glad its a minor one.
Please continue, every game brings new positions and new comments on how to execute it. Also at 8:20 Brian asks "Am I even allowed to hit the 9 ball to knock in the 7?" and the answer is "No!" and it is correct. But there is an exception, which is you can hit any ball first (except 8 ball) to pocket any ball (except 8 ball) when the table is "open", and the pocketed ball is chosen.
Was the image Jason at first ? I saw it on my home page and thought it was a scam channel only to find out it's the slightly legitimate sequel to scam school, the modern rogue. Edit after about a minute in: I have my answer
Tip I got for aiming is, line up like you shooting the numbered ball straight in to the pocket you want. That’s where to want the Q balls centerline to hit.
This is good to know. I've often said if I ever began to go bald, I'd just commit to it and shave my whole head. What's more, there's this one pro that comes to town a couple times a year that fancies himself as Superman.
So when is the weed video coming i'v been waiting for ever and im so committed to waiting for that video i will keep asking when the weed video is coming in every comments section on this channels video after this one. Oh and Munchies when your under the buzz and when your not?????
How much do you hate that toaster oven? I could probably make mine a little less annoying if I tore it apart and scrubbed it and got the convection fan working without sounding like it's dying, but it has so many other oddities that I would almost rather replace it.
Instead of watching people play this i’d recommend everyone to try in real life. It may be difficult at first but once you understand it you’ll become addicted.
@@therabbits69 its actually pretty easy, when u were living and breathing pool from almost birth u had a lot of time to have worked on ur stroke for example. As a new player myself (and im 32 yo) its hard for me to stroke in a straight way coz i often wiggle my wrist even when i try not to. Its a elementary flaw and im having a trouble getting past it, the funny thing tho my pattern play etc is good but i often make basic mistakes and it sucks :(
At 7:40 Jason bounces the cue. When I was in school there was a strict rule of where you cannot do this, because you risk throwing off the balance of the cue. I don't know if that is accurate or not, but it bugged the crap out of me.
I can attest, through years of experience (and terrible frustration), bouncing the cue on the floor will not affect its balance. However, if you bounce it hard enough on a well-made 2-piece cue, you can break the butt cap. Please don't ask me how I know.
Could you guys do a rule explaining BCA rules? Always just played “hit ball in pocket, first ball determines your type, scratch if que in pocket, kitchen”
Hey video suggestion aside from the lighter trick theres another lighter part in 100 deadly skills its number 67 or you could do a video on the homemade plastic and using it for a dead drop or hidden caches
when you hit the last ball in, isn't the 8 ball suppose to go into the opposite hole? or can you just choose any you want? I guess it depends on what you are playing?
Brian is about to get his shot on the 8 ball and I realised, if I scroll down a TINY bit... I know how this ends :P Well so much for that... Why is it not a family photo... Damn YOU BRUSHWOOD! Also, well played Brian, I DID think Jason won :P
What im noticing about w/jason is that his hand is staying on the bumper when it would be better to move it to the end of the cue for a more controlled shot. It keeps slicing to the left due to lack of end control
i really like this. can you guys do a series where you just play games? darts, pool, cornhole, poker, etc. i like the other stuff too but this is great. just not monopoly, has ended too many friendships.
Two-time WSOP Bracelet winner, Nicholas Schulman is also an accomplished pool player. It's actually pretty common for many pool players to be good at poker although Nick is definitely the most accomplished in both.

All you have to do is hit it softly
Brian: "Ok." Then proceeded to rocket power his shot...
Had to give the other team a chance.
I was in tears HAHAHA
Yea - 'you dont have to hit this hard' 'ok!' proceeds to bank the ball off 5 different rails

I did in fact spend the whole show thinking he'd won it.
I'm gonna be honest I didn't even notice it changed.

Damn me too
Hears what the bet is for.

Never gotten that many likes on a comment.
Yeah... they got me too...
I actually watched it before the icon changed.
ClokworkGremlin I did too. Was initially confused

That's a sunglasses and walk away moment, definitely.

I spoiled the ending for myself by going into the comments.
This is "top" comment (except for pinned comment).
Welp, was still good!
It worked on me. Brian talking about family photos helped.
We have been tricked backstabbed and quite possibly bamboozeled
100% yes, I deffinately thought Jason had won.
Same. Fantastic ending

This was perfect. I clicked think what happened to the channel icon? Then I got my answer and thought Jason won. Then I was pleasantly surprised.
can modern rogue collab w binging or some cooking show so they can actually cook
They did learn how to cook in prison, as well as how to cook steaks and burgers.
That counts, right?
Josh from mythical kitchen
I vote you suck at cooking
Id say binging with babish 100%

I've been a fan since Scam School. Although, admittedly I found Scam School only like a year or two before Modern Rogue.
2016 was definitely not the beginning. :D
This is easily one of the most exciting 8-ball game I've seen in years lol

“Now you don’t need to hit this one that hard, and I don’t mind if it rolls forward a little bit”
Brian “nuke it with back english? Got it”

Watching in 360p. Early crew!

360 checking in.
Lol that ending was too funny. Cheering about the injury counter reset happening and it not being them😂
Great episode! Was just getting back into casual pool, so this has been great!
I always relate so much to Jason... Just excited to be involved.
I legit thought EXACTLY THAT the entire time. It seemed like a Jason thing to pick if he won.
Jude looks like The CW Lex Luthor, and Wes looks like if Sylvester Stallone chose to play pool instead of box.
Wes kinda feels like Jerry Seinfeld to me

Cool, good on ya'!!!
Damn it, the NordVPN ad with Jason screaming in shock like an unexpected splashback would've been so much better.
Modern Rogue AKA: What not to do, an OSHA reference guide.
I love how at the start its "we're not schmucks anymore" and Jason...JASON bro! You fail us!
Remember when the name of the episode was "Scotch Doubles for the Fate of the Channel"?
Pepperidge Farm remembers.
Been watching Brian since scam school started and this is maybe one of my favorite episodes of both channels!
agreed~!!
I always look at which ball is best as in which group is better positioned for multiple shots in 1 turn and I kick ass homies
I’m just rooting for Jason cause I know it’s fries in the nose picture.
It’s a good day when The Modern Rogue uploads
