This is originally a straight up Jazz track by Robert Glasper, my favorite. DJ Kermit added a bit of Pat Metheny vibe and created an excellent House track. A bit repetitive but it works. A pure ecstatic joy to dance to.

Sounds like when I had a record store called “Clear” in SF from 96 to 03. Back then there were so many ppl. getting into house music and many were still in their early to mid 20’s and didn’t have money, but were willing to starve for house music. There was this kid that used to work at Mcds and all his friends were into hip hop and not house, but he didn’t care and went for what he loved. I used to be always busy, but when he came in, I would drop everything and help him. Sadly he died about 3 years ago. But I love ppl. that love something so much, they’re willing to starve or eat top ramen for.

Stellar Newark, New Jersey DJ. Darryl James put me up on the "Lounge Lizard's reworking of this Robert Glasper Pat Methenyesque like track. DJ Kemit's version is nice but the loungelizards has the best version of this remix and it's hard2find too! Excellent concept to turn into a House joint bcuz it has a mellow vibe you can contemplate off of.
I didn't know Robert Glasper did this. Honestly I heard of Robert Glasper when he won the Grammy over I think it was Louie Vega...Well I think Louie should've won but that's just my personal opinion but congratulations anyway to Robert Glasper. Great Artist!
