I set myself a bit of a task as I managed to shear the Torx head off when I was trying to remove the old sensor. I couldn’t get at the bolt properly to cut a groove for a flat head screw driver until I cracked the sensor off with some pliers. Then I could get at the blot to cut a groove for a flat screw driver, and managed to unscrew it. Putting the new one in, to a couple of minutes and it’s all ready for the mot retest tomorrow. My father in law is well happy. Thanks for a great video I wouldn’t have known where to start without it.
There is an easy way and a less easy way, sometimes we just find the easy way after applying the less easy way. Great to see you back with another informative and well presented video and your easy going manner.
I have changed one or those crash sensors, but to be honest I would have pulled off the bumper too. So handy to get a refresher course. Hopefully I will remember it for the next one 😉👍👍👍
Nice one Dave , vauxhall use tge slotted hole idea on the Zafira door mirrors , I remember when I did one , thinking how do I get this bolt back in ,then hey presto , saw the same as you did then , normally tge wiring rots for fun ,but that looked OK on this one , not good about the Italian GP last week 👍
Top show, Dave! I have a 2012 Peugeot 208 (1.4 hdi 3dr) showing its airbag emoji! Can you recommend a basic(ish) scanner that'll deal with it? Was looking at autel al619... Any comments appreciated.
Hello for your video for the Fiat 500 1.3, did you have difficulty removing the 4 screws from the engine mount? because it is narrow between the chain case and the bodywork. Thank you !

Yeah, on another day the bumper removal would have been necessary. This shows all possibilities.

Yeah Mike, was happy enough with the wiring on this one, cheers
The last Opel I worked on didn't have air bags. Opel GT (USA version)
Had that replaced in my 65 plate corsa. Still getting the service airbag light when anyone sits in the passenger seat. Frustrating!
Top show, Dave!
